My optiplex 7050 is very limited in the upgrade ablity department and this cpu is the second most powerful process behind the i7 7700, but considering this processor for the lower price saved me a lot of money! The performance is amazing, you can run multiple applications at once no issue, editing videos is a snap, and it will GAME, newer titles might require low settings but this cpu can handle max settings 60fps on most games pre 2020

I have no dislike but I highly recemented getting a water cooler for it. The Frozen Prism 240 Black I also got from Amazon and it a great working cooler for the price!! Please note the stock cooler with the new water cooler. I sent a photo shower the new I7 core temp and it running at 100% and the temp is at 140 to 145F. I do long rendering that take 45min to 3hours at a time. Now if you are into gaming I would get a cooler but if you do surfing or writing the stock cooler may work.

Got this after swapping the cheap workstation bought here on Amazon and needed another CPU which is the same one that came with the PC. The seller had it nicely packaged in an oversized box so it was well-protected. No issues running these for days on end. The i7 makes a difference for multi-tasking applications but being an older chip, it's still an inexpensive way to have a fast PC that can run Photoshop and other apps at the same time. Well worth the money!

I was a bit leery of ordering a processor that was renewed but I didn't want to spend a ton of money getting a system up that will be used primarily as a Plex server. I looked around and finally decided on this processor. It arrived faster than expected and I put it in my system right away in case it didn't work for some reason it booted up fine and ran as expected. I did some stress testing and so far it looks great. Temps are as expected and everything is up and running. I would order again if the need arose. Very happy with my purchase.

I got this Cpu and put it in, everything ran fine but i've noticed that my pc is running slower, having a lot of errors, and my pc is detecting it as a i3 6100

I built a budget gaming machine from an HP Elite Desk 800 G2 and swapped out the old I5 for this I7. Combined with the RX6400, it plays just about anything I wish now at a good frame rate.

Item was clean and packaged securely, I have been gaming with it for the past 2 days with no problems! Would order again
