VELUX ACTIVE with NETATMO (KIX 300)

This kit is a doddle to set up. Works really well with my Google mesh and Google home.

Excellent service from the sellers (Vale Blind Direct) and good price. However I bought this to replace my Integra control pad which came with the Velux window and was installed in 2016 because it had stopped working. Unfortunately to Install the Active controllers you need to transfer the settings from the old controller to the new system and this I cannot do because the old control pad is not working. Nowhere in any of the information about the installation, either on line or in the support documentation, does it mention this. You only find out that you need the old controller at the last step of the installation process. Apparently the only solution is to buy a standard remote control (they don’t make the Integra control pads anymore), pair that to the window and then pair the replacement remote with the Active Controllers. Why you can’t pair the Active Controllers direct to the window I just don’t understand. I am sure the product is very good, but I won’t know until my new remote control arrives (another £25). Bah humbug.

Been a nightmare from the start, constantly getting error messages and need to refresh before windows come back online, contacted velux and they said they were aware of the problem but 6 months later problem still exists, 6 weeks ago the gateway was "offline", couldn't be bothered to go through the ordeal of deleting everything and starting again as I've had to do it at least 3 times since the start, tried to delete and start again today but there is no white pulsing led on the back, no matter how long you press the button, tried pushing a pin into the little hole to the left of the button, get a flashing green followed by flashing red in the led above the pinhole but still nothing in the led above the button.. Can't find any help online only the instructions which mention nothing after pressing the settings button to get the pulsing white led, my return date long since passed and stuck with something that no longer works ... Update.. So since all the bother above I contacted seller just before 12 months ran out, they directed me to velux again and after a couple of weeks of them sending me a link to the set up process and me responding by saying that my problem not covered within that they declared the unit faulty and sent a replacement and has been working perfectly ever since So a year on with the replacement and everything works as it should so my problem was with the original gateway so I've decided to upgrade my star rating to 4, have to hold a star back for all the inconvenience caused but they do work well and constantly check air quality and air the room if needed

Love this gizmo. Easy to set up. Not sure who wants a house lock switch for skylights. But even I can automate the window to open at night to cool the house and close when hotter outside. Awesome. One happy hamster underneath the window now. Plus the extra wall switch means the skylight can be operated from bed. Or indeed anywhere on the planet with our iPhones.

The instructions to set up were good although the casings were tricky to open to insert batteries. This is the product I have been waiting for Works with Siri and home kit one verbal instruction and all 7 0f our blinds open Highly recommended

Excellent product. Expensive but worth the money so that you can control the windows and climate remotely from anywhere.

I have 6 Velux windows with electric blinds and this device brings them all together so that I can use them on my phone - really happy with this.

The velux active was quite hard to set up initially as the instructions are not very good online help is also sparse. Took us 2 days to figure it out. Once done though it’s convenient and easy to operate
