Better than expected.
Initially I was just looking for longer screws and running into this I thought I’d give it a try. Works as described. I had more of a gap above and below the outlet after installing some tongue and groove than I’d like, so this helped fix that. The sleeves are bigger/thicker than I anticipated and softer or more rubbery than I expected. This was a good thing. They give quite a bit when you add tension as you screw the outlet in. This caused the outlet to be more sturdy which made for a good hold when I installed the cover. The outlet sits flush and as mentioned, feels sturdy.

These outlet spacer are a time save on older remodel
These outlet spacers are excellent. We were doing some remodeling in an older bathroom and the end result was the outlet box was a little too inset from the drywall. These spacers came in very hand and are a great value for the money. They are good quality and easy to install.

A great solution to a pain in the **** issue ...
If you do DIY you will more than likely get to the point of this outlet height issue. Yes you can bodge it but this is simpler and now no one knows the difference. I will keep some spare for the next project, knowing my wife lol.

item worked beautifully to secure & extend outlet forward. Was able to cut pieces easily to just the right width for each end. Only used for adjustments of approximately 1/4" to 1/2" so unable to comment on larger adjustments. Since you are only placing spacer at screw site, it was able to easily fit where the rigid box type spacer would not fit without more extensive work.

Simple fix
These outlet spacers were exactly what I needed for a quick and clean solution during a wall plate replacement.
