Non-irritating, long lasting, and effective!
We are sold for life on this product and this brand! 1) customer service is real people in the USA if you have any questions. and they care! 2) for years, i've suffered occasionally with my toe nails separating from the nail bed. my podiatrist swears it's not a foot fungus, but it's still unsightly and makes the nails weak and more prone to breaking. the only solution i ever found (before toelieva) that worked was a citrus extract a manicurist recommended, but it stains the toes and nails a dark yellow color. ick. enter "toeliveva!" whatever is wrong with my nails, this fixes it! they are soft and supple and quickly grow attached to the nail bed and stay that way. yay! normal toes! this has a VERY mild scent of the oil itself and is mostly olive oil. i apply it before going to bed and again after a shower. because it's in an olive oil base, it is (by definition) oily, so use very very little! it's enough. trust me. highly recommend!

This is my second purchase of this item. I want to make sure I never run out.
I followed the instructions, but was not entirely as diligent about number of applications, etc. as recommended, but I probably would have seen results faster if I had. It has completely cured the three nails that were affected. In one case the fungus was growing under the nail in such a way that the nail was actually falling OFF. IMPORTANT: THE FUNGUS IS IN THE NAIL BED. You must follow instructions and treat the area around the nail AND at it's base. If you follow the instructions, after a time you will see that the NEW growth is OK. This takes time, but it works. I've noticed that some people think it will fix the already damaged nail that they see. Nothing can do that. This medicine kills the fungus in the nail bed and surrounding area so the nail will regrow as a healthy nail. Do not give up. It will fix it.

Uses undecylenic acid, which is considered more effective than tolnaftate
It is increasingly difficult to find anti-fungal products which use undecylenic acid, as many of them seemed to have transitioned to cheaper tolnaftate as their active ingredient. So I am pleased that Toeliva has retained the use of the apparently-more-effective undecylenic acid. A study published in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology did find that undecylenic acid was more effective than tolnaftate in treating athlete's foot. The study found that 70% of patients who used undecylenic acid were cured of their infection, compared to 55% of patients who used tolnaftate. The only concern I have with the product is the use of olive oil, which would seem to be a potential stain-creator. One option to mitigate any staining would be to blend some baking soda in with the Toeliva, or sprinkle it on your skin after application.

So far, so good!
I've been using this product for 2 months and so far I've gotten better results than the god-awful-smelling chemical junk the doctor prescribed. That Rx was equal to putting nail polish on my nails and it dried out the surrounding skin horribly to the point of peeling. That bottle was tiny and as you got to the bottom, the product started to crystalize and was unusable. I decided to investigate a more natural remedy, so I simply researched what type of acid kills toe fungus. Undecylenic Acid is scientifically proven. The Rx had none of it listed as an ingredient. It was just jacked-up clear nail polish. Undecylenic acid and the base oil are slowly (and I mean slowly) killing the fungus while keeping the surrounding skin soft and happy. Patience is the key and keeping your toenails trimmed regularly.

Toelieva solution
I don’t think my toe condition was fungus. I think months if covering it with polish had really damaged and dried out my nail bed. The before and after are inly 24 hours and 2 applications apart! I would say miraculous! Excuse my ugly toe!

Misleading Description
I purchased this product based on product description to address issue. Once product was received, the label on bottle lists product is not effective on nails which is not how it is described. Since this is not effective for the condition for which I need it, I did not use and since bottle was opened, I did not return it. It is a waste of money. The package also arrived leaking as it was not properly sealed and leaked product all over inside.
