I have been through my share of Lightening Cables like all users of Apple Products have. This one looks like it will stand up over time. Therefore I rate it highly because I am tired of cheap cables that break and you can't even tell on the outside---they simply stop working. Hopefully this one will stand up over time.

I’ve been using Belkin for the very first time 6-7 years ago and the cable lasted that long. When my first one went dead, I decided to order another one or maybe more than one and I’m using this cable just only in my car which I love it.

It looks great and is nice and long. It is sturdy BUT stopped charging my iPhone at 3 months of use. :(

It works for fast charging. It is long and looks strong. So far i do not have any issue with it.

This cable seems super durable and is working perfectly fine for charging and syncing. However, I bought it for use in my car with CarPlay, specifically because of the claimed durability. I have a Bose Centerpoint 12 speaker audio system, and over the past 6 months there has been a NOTICEABLE (at least to me) decrease in audio quality. After switching back to an OEM Apple cable (which will be ripped to shreds in weeks...), the audio quality returned that I experienced with the Belkin cable 6 months ago. If you're not using this for CarPlay or don't care about music audio quality, I'd say go with this cable. Otherwise, I'd look elsewhere (as I'll be doing)...

This is a game changer. I could swear that most charging cables are made using fish oil or something because cats chew them. This is the first I have had that has NOT been chewed by my cat. He tried to take a chomp once. ONCE. He had a look of disappointment and dismay. Never tried this cable again. Yes, price is a little steep but you’ll buy it once, as opposed to, buying them in multi-packs repeatedly which adds up fast. The leather snap to clip it all together is great! Well worth it!!! Just think, “cat proof”!

The original Apple iPhone cords suck. They just suck. You know it. I know it. Apple sure as hell knows it. But they know you'll keep buying more because let's face it... we need to charge our phones. However, Belkin has fixed that issue by making this amazing, very sturdy cord for our iPhones. I've had one for almost two years, using it in my work truck, car, home, everywhere I need to go without cracking, splitting, or otherwise failing. I just bought two more for the family. Highly recommended.

Do not purchase these cables ! You will be wasting your money, time, and effort in getting it to work.. first the cable keeps disconnecting from the apple products, and it keeps saying that the product is not supported to devices so it won’t charge your tablet or iPhone. Although they Claim it’s compatible with all apple products it is not! 2nd: I decided to buy a more expensive cable from same company thinking it would be better and same thing happened! And now the second cable broke off and it won’t work at all. I contact support and they want me to send them the serial number from the box but that’s long gone so now I’m stuck with two expensive cables and one doesn’t even work. So yeah you have been warned !

Am 1.3.2020 bestellt und am 30.7.2021 der erste Wackelkontakt. Ich muss dazu aber auch sagen, dass ich mich extra für ein robustes Kabel entschieden habe, da ich es viel nutze und es mir leider oft passiert, dass ich das Handy während des Ladens verwende und das Kabel unten abknicke. Nun habe ich einen Wackelkontakt direkt am Kontakt. Ich finde aber für die Dauer und meinem groben Umgang hat es super gehalten. Mir gefällt das Design alleine nur nicht, aber das ist geschmackssache. Seit längerer Zeit (ein paar Monate) hat sich das Gummi zwischen Kabel und Kontakt leicht bläulich verfärbt und es ist eine kleine Beule entstanden, so als wenn von innen etwas ausgetreten ist(?) Insgesamt bin ich zufrieden mit dem Ladekabel und werde es mir nachbestellen, da bisher keins so lange ausgehalten hat (vor allem nicht die 3m Kabel!!!), auch wenn ich bedauer, dass es nichtmal 1,5 Jahre waren, aber nun gut, das liegt natürlich auch am groben Gebrauch.

I’d rather pay Belkin £25 for a 3 metre, Kevlar-lined cable (with a 5 year warranty) than pay the same amount to Apple for the original cable, which is shorter and will break apart in ~2years. In short, Belkin’s cable seems to be very durable. I ordered this next day using prime and registered the product on Belkin to take advantage of the 5 year warranty. To those still not sure, please don’t buy the AmazonBasics cable advertised on this cable’s product page. I guarantee you that Amazon own brand will have the same life as Apple’s cable. I bought AmazonBasics dinnerware and it is chipped to hell. I have no doubt their other products are of the same, shoddy quality at seemingly bargain prices. Make an investment with Belkin - they haven’t failed me for the past decade I’ve bought from them.
