This commercial door closer is one of the most sturdy ones that we have ever installed. It was a snap to install, the design is sleek and blends in perfectly with our decor. It functions very well and looks to be of high quality. It is heavy and designed to be used in a commercial application.

It is expensive and it is worth it. I have this installed on a steel freight door and it works far better than I had hoped. Excellent range of adjustment valves for main speed, latching speed, closing power, etc. means you can fine tune it to be exactly what you need it to be.

This product weights like a ton. Seriously, this is a well built opener. Once I turned the picture upside down and played with the different ways to attach the unit and swing arms it made sense. I’ve replaced existing unit in the past which were plug and play. This was my first ground up install on an exterior security gate. I guess had the mounting been on the opposite side and lower it would have matched the drawing in the instructions. But it mounted via welding and works like a charm. Easy adjustments for pressure to. I’d buy again from this vendor.

Good quality

We had problems with our dogs slipping around us when the door was open. This device pulls this door in and the dogs are unable to nose their way out. Does the job. Strong pull on the door with multiple adjustments to slow, speed up the closing of the door along with the ability to set the strength of the door pull at the same as setting the speed. Works well.

Everything was fine

Our ~25 year old Ingersoll-rand 4041FP door closer was leaking oil and I couldn't adjust out the slam. After a bit of research, it appeared that Lynn was a reputable brand. Lynn support was very quick to respond and recommended the DC9016 and I was elated that it was bolt in compatible with the old mounting plate and parallel arm bracket. The cost was less than half what I expected and after reading the instructions and watching a YouTube video, it took a couple of hours to install including set up and clean up.

I did some research before purchasing and this brand, Lynne, is really a great brand. Very sturdy and although the instructions for these door closes are always daunting, I was able to figure out and install these with no issues.
