Adds a little bit extra to the hi hat - quite pleasing to the ear and comes through on recordings using SM57 easy. If using the foot pedal there can be a slight delay in it dropping back down which is a nice vibe

I play in a punk band and have a set of PST7 heavy hihats that I’ve always found to have sound that is too bright. The ching ring slightly dampens the cymbals as well as adding a great noisy timbre when played open or with the pedal. Recommend them highly.

Very durable and adds extra sound wherever placed

Really nice addition to my Sabian Stratus Hi-Hats. They add a great sound, are seemingly durable, and function well. They're also a nice size and I've never accidentally hit them with my sticks. I use 14" hi-hats and these were large enough to sound good, set well on the cymbal, and small enough to not hit with my sticks. I tried making a stack with these, which was the original intent in buying them, and I didn't like it. But, that might be my fault for not really knowing what I'm doing. They're great on hi-hats, though, and for the price you simply can't go wrong.

Von Kantenbrechen hat dieser Effektring leider noch nichts gehört... Der Stahl wurde nicht entgratet. Somit ist ein sehr hohes Risiko gegeben, dass sämtliche Becken und Felle verkratzt werden. An sich hat es aber einen sehr schönen Klang.
