Rethinking Early Childhood Education

This book is an easy read mainly aimed at pre-k and elementary teachers but I think all can benefit from the stories in this book. It also makes you look at different stories in a new way/gives lots of tools to support Anti Bias Curriculum. Also the stories are very short. (One was only a page.) I never thought about The Three Little Pigs as a potential criticism of people who live in straw houses. Ultimately I learned that everything in a classroom carries a message (intentional or not).

Love, love, love this! I agreed with most every single article. It really gave me something to think about. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is teaching young children.

Great book and analysis about nowadays education and the new approach to educate children and teChers as well by using more thinking skills

Different from many other texts that just regurgitate theories this text used antecdotal stories that applied practice to theory.

This book was used for a graduate class and was full of good ideas and stories. I enjoyed it and took many "idea" notes.

It's a great book for a great price! I enjoy reading this even outside of class.
