Scottish Tablet Jar (Pells) 2.3kg

It's been many years since I last had any Scottish Tablet, I used to buy myself some every week until the lady selling it decided to stop selling it because nobody was buying it, apparently I'm nobody 🤦‍♂️ 🤣 I can't remember what triggered a craving for it last week but I found this massive tub and just couldn't help myself 😂 Although quite hard to begin with, mostly due to the temperature of my house (trying to keep it cool in thus hot weather 🤣) as soon as my hand warms it up it's texture becomes more like that you'd expect from Scottish Tablet, crumbly and melt-in-your-mouth 🤤 I couldn't fault this if I tried, packed full of flavour, super sweet but not sickly so, the reminiscent super soft crunch as you bite into it and slowly melt into that wonderful yet unique feeling that only those of us who love and/or tried Scottish Tablet can fully appreciate but generally can't fully describe, I'd almost explain it as a "gritty" feel but that nowhere near does it any justice because let's face it, if you tell someone something feels "gritty" in their mouth they'd recoil from disgust so don't take that word as anything more than mere inability to fully explain the pure pleasure that is Scottish Tablet! 😊 I couldn't recommend anything on Amazon more than this, this IS the number one spot on my list, I can't fault it at all, maybe if it were more of a better seller I would have gotten a much fresher batch which would undoubtedly have been less hard than it is but at the end of the day it's not an issue in the slightest, although I do have less teeth these days 🤣 maybe I should have layed off the stuff in my younger years? Nah... 😂 Seriously, the add to basket button is right there, do it! You'll thank me later, I guarantee! 😊

This jar of tablet exceeded my expectations. You certainly get a lot of tablet for your money. It is deliciously sweet and creamy and for everyone in the know it has that great "chunky snap" that tells you that this is not fudge. Big jar, lots of good size chunks and delicious. You will not be disappointed.

This was nothing like my previous jar which tasted exactly how Scottish tablet should taste. This jar had an unpleasant taste as soon as I took a bite. It was as if the !manufacturer is substituting ingredients, margarine instead of butter as an example and getting it very wrong. My previous jar didn't last long as it was so moorish. This jar is Still sitting on the shelf untouched after a week. That says it all. Wasn't cheap but I can see it ending up in the bin and that's upsetting, I'm not made of money and I don't like waste. I also don't appreciate being sold a product that is not what it is stated as being.I Very disappointed.

Bought as part of an office "sweets from your homeland" exercise in my extremely multinational office. As the only Scot in the place I didn't really have a choice as to what to bring. Tablet is the taste of childhood, and probably the taste of type 1 diabetes and heart disease too. Overwhelmingly sweet but distinctively flavoured as well. This is a very good value jar of professional grade tablet. It went down a treat with some, found ridiculously sweet by others. The whole jar was gone in a day. Do buy for dozens, don't buy if you just intend to eat it yourself.

i loved this Pells Scottish tablet it was just perfect not melted like the ones i bought from a different seller.i have loved thses sweets all my life and its great to know that i can buy a big jar of them to last me months. thank you for your lovely product

I thought the pieces would have been smaller.

Taste like the Fudge I use to buy from a stall near my place of work as it more handmade than factory wax coated Fudge whcih I have had in the past and weren't for me. The container arrived unscathed and was it one of those oldschool plasctic sweet jar that you see in newsagents/sweetshops of old so they're an eyewatering amount of Fudge that best shared with large families for weeks or by yourself for a very long time!
