Great for doors sagging for not hung correctly
These door strikes have a much larger hole top to bottom for door bolts that are beginning to sag or were never properly hung. You would have to mortise out the door jamb as they are taller than the standard door strike plates.

Perfect
These worked perfect. My doors were a little off hitting the strike plate . The strike plate open is longer with these so I cut wood whole longer and replace plates..works great door stays shut now with out the top of door sticking

I screwed up... THIS FIXED IT!!
I screwed up... and broke a screw head off in my door jam while painting wood work. TLDR story, filled the hole with wood filler and painted, once dried installed this and it extends the holes out enough to drill new and make everything work... Oh.. and the door even latches better! Highly recommend. Solid quality and color.

Worked for me
Guess my house built in 1958 had some different mortise sizes for the strike plates, because the standare strike plate that came with my Schlage Plymouth knobs did not fit on our house. Got these and they fit the holes just fine. I do have some extra room, I wish the lip was wider but can't find a version like that.

fix the builders mistakes
I appreciate that this strike plate is about half an inch longer than normal, it helped me fix a door that no longer shut properly because my house has shifted a little bit.Rather than having to completely rework the door frame all I had to do was change the strike plate and make the hole a little bit bigger. Very easy fix
