IKEA Desk, White

Wir haben den Schreibtisch für unsere Kinder bestellt . Wir waren mit der schnellen und unkomplizierten Lieferung sehr zufrieden. Wurde auch schneller als angekündigt geliefert . Das zwischen Teil von den Schubladen hatte leider eine ganz kleine Macke bei der Lieferung. Ansonsten top

I previously bought this desk from IKEA and my movers broke it (somehow put a big hole in the tabletop which is a hard feat since it's very durable) so I was on the hunt to replace the desk. It was out of stock at every ikea within 500 miles. I knew it was overpriced on Amazon, I tried to wait it out a little to see if the price would drop to a more reasonable price, and it did (I should have waited longer because it dropped even lower lol) Anyway, yes it's $80 at IKEA. If you live far from one though this is an awesome choice. I was really worried about the desk being damaged during shipment but this seller is amazing because they put Styrofoam around the box to protect it and then wrapped it in like saran wrap. The desk came fully intact without any damages. It was easy to put together (but this was my second time, remember the drawers really have to be at an extreme angle to fit in, videos on youtube) For me, because I just love this desk and didn't want anything else it was worth the extra cost to have it shipped right to my door.

If you're looking for a pretty, quality, compact white desk, you'll be hard pressed to find a better fit than this, especially if you're a fan of IKEA's look, which I am. It's typical IKEA assembly - comes in 4,295 pieces, but the graphic instructions are simple and this is easily assembled by one person in an hour or so. It's sturdy, the drawers sit evenly, wipes down nicely and provides ample space (as far as compact styles go). Fantastic apartment or small home office desk!

The actual desk I'm sure it's great, it's the condition of the desk before I even got a chance to assemble it. It was sold by Amazon and I am quite upset that they would deliver such a beatup, basicly garbage desk. It's warping, scratched up, cracked and peeling . I'm so busy and have my husband coming home from the hospital and needed the room we set up for him finished. Now I have to go thru all the trouble, repack, seal and return this thing. It's super heavy, no way will I be able to lift this box into my car to return or exchange it. By the time I hopefully get the ok to return it and a replacement arrives he will be home and he will need 24hr care and attention from me, I will not be able to assemble it. I bought other easy to move furniture to compliment this Ikea Desk. Now I'm scared to open and look at these other 3 boxes. Never had this happen. Amazon has been consistently amazing minus this order. Lol

I love this desk. I am using it for my vanity. It's a very pretty, bright white. The drawers glide open nice and smooth and are also nice and deep. I have a ton of makeup/skin care in one drawer and haircare products in the other. It took my husband about 45 minutes to assemble. I looked at the "Alex" vanity at Ikea and with shipping it was going to cost WAY more than this unit. This is a great buy if you don't live near Ikea. It's nice and sturdy. I have a very heavy, custom built, lighted mirror bolted to the back of it and have had no issues with it bending or bowing the center. I will update this review in six months to let people know how it's holding up.
