Started to get into macro photography and soon realised I would need a flash of some descritption to get the best shots I could. Tried my usual flash which is decent but not wholly suited for some of the extra close shots I make. Looked up this flash unit and thought I would give it a try. Works brilliantly. Even has several modes to help out getting the best shots and each side has independent adjustments to strength of flash light. Can also fire one side at a time which can be cool for different types of lighting needed. Still learning all the ins and outs but I am very pleased thus far with its performance.

I just got the ring flash (Nikon fit) and have been practicing with it. So far, I really like it. It's a little heavy to hold for extended periods, so a tripod is recommended. My biggest complaint so far is that I can't understand the manual! The translation to english has so many grammatical and spelling errors that it is impossible to figure out what is trying to be said! Instead, I am just trying settings using experience along with trial and error.

I am always leary of buying non-brand photographic items that are not well known for quality. This item while haveing some strengths, such as easy to use and providing various size rings. Other issues like flash washout when using the TTL feature on Nikon D850 for macrophotography. Thereby requiring some experimentation before using it. Plus a poorly written manual takes a way from it. Overall, I would rate this a 3.5 but sadly Amazon does not allow half-ratings. My advice, this is something to consider if you are on a budge but if you are looking at something name brand like Nikon then spend the extra money for Nikon.

Works a treat with Nikon DSLR and 100mm Macro lens, makes all the difference to lighting close up subjects.

Bought as a gift for family member so not sure how well it performs yet. Arrived on time but the internal package was found to be damaged, dusty and grubby as if it had been on the shelf for some considerable time. Doesn't look good when you've bought the item as a present to someone. Disappointed that the goods have arrived in this condition.

Does what it says on the box

Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Lo utilizzo quasi sempre in manuale alla minima intensità luminosa (1/128). Comoda la possibilità di gestire in maniera indipendente la lampada destra e quella sinistra; utilissima la funzione di preilluminazione: agevola molto la messa a fuoco.

Le câble qui relie le boitier de commande du flash à l'anneau contenant les tubes, est un peu trop court et surtout trop rigide. De ce fait, avec un objectif de 200mm et un soufflet, cela devient très limite, et l'orientation du flash ne peut pas être faite correctement. Il faudrait donc un câble avec 20cm de plus, et surtout, beaucoup, beaucoup plus souple. Pour le reste, après quelques essais rapides avec un Nikon D750, le résultat semble correct, il faudra bien sûr apprivoiser l'appareil...
