Thomas The Tank Engine: The Classic Library

A wonderful set of books by the Reverend Awdrey. I had a lot of these books as a child. I am a grandfather to a beautiful 21 month old granson and I recently bought this set for him. He's a tad too young for them yet, and so in the meantime I will give him some Thomas the Tank Engine books for his age. I'll give him this set of 36 books when he's older, and in the meantime, I'm reading them. I'm surprised by how well I remember some of the text, not to mention the fantastic pictures. Thoroughly recommend them!

Beautiful collection, well worth the price. Books are hard-wearing and really nice. Lovely illustrations. Bit fiddly to hold due to shape if you have a wriggly toddler in your lap. Really worth the reasonable price.

Lovely paper, a good size for reading, plenty of variety to keep the parents entertained too
