So easy to make not to mention it makes quite a bit. It’s just a pound of ground meat and small can of tomato paste with water. Serve with spaghetti noodles.. and whatever toppings you want.. I like shredded cheddar and oyster crackers. There are NO BEANS and just a tiny bit of spice. It actually has cinnamon and chocolate in the packet… although you do NOT taste chocolate in this at all..leftovers are great and it taste good for your chili dogs!!

Skyline Without the Name!
If you're a Skyline Chili lover, buy this! I have had it many times before and it's always good. Cook this exactly as the directions read. I used to brown the meat first, that's what was changing the texture and flavor. It's still delicious with the meat browned first but if you want the authentic Skyline experience, cook exactly as instructed. I bought the 3 pack and they were dated out about 18 months. Also, if you're cooking for 2 or 3 people, it freezes well and you can easily get 2 separate dinners from this. When it simmers you can skim any extra grease from the top, which Skyline doesn't do. 😉😊

Close but not exact. Good though.
Been a fan of Skyline Chilli for decades and often make the frozen version from the grocery store. Decided to try this spice mix just to test. All you do is add a small can of tomato paste and meat and boil. Simmer for hour and half. Easy to use. In the end you get a lot of chilli for the money and it is close to the taste of the real Cincinnati chili sold throughout Ohio. However I eventually find myself craving the real deal and end up buying the frozen skyline. Nice to have both options. Can add higher quality meat than the original uses. Overall very good. Recommend.

Best at-home Skyline
Best way to make skyline or skyline dip. You can use your own (fresh) meat and still get the same great taste.

Much Better than the Frozen Skyline and the Cans
It's been decades since I "discovered" Skyline in Cincinnati and years since I stumbled upon a Skyline hole-in-the-wall restaurant in Ft. Lauderdale. I figured Skyline hot dogs and spaghetti would be a very occasional thing until I found these little packets a few years ago at a major grocery chain, which, sadly, doesn't carry them anymore. Amazon to the rescue and I'm hooked all over again. I follow the packet instructions, but then strain the finished product in a small colander but do not press down to squeeze all of the moisture out. This keeps from having a plate of spaghetti with a pool of liquid at the bottom. Finely shredded cheddar & onions. Now where can I find those little hot dogs & buns?
