Awesome bike seat. Put 600 miles in this summer with this seat. Very comfortable for this old guy.

Wanted a bigger saddle without going to a tractor seat. It is bigger and softer than my last saddle. Great for an old man’s butt.

Most comfortable MTB seat. Definitely an improvement from previous generations.

Interesting seat, since it’s eBike specific and the thing that was different from the previous seat was the ridge on the back. I found the ridge something to get use to while riding, since it does interfere with sliding off for decents and back on afterwards. Adjusting the angle took time to setting in on what felt comfortable, I didn’t find the recommended angle was right for me. I think the ridge does have its advantages once I got use to it.

Replaced the stock seat on my mountain ebike. The stock seat sent an unpleasant jolt through the seat when hitting a hard bump. This new Ergon seat does not. When I first got it, I mounted it and rode it a little, and thought, "I guess it's good." But then after 15 minutes, I realized how much better it was. No more unpleasant jolts that kind of hurt. Also, I noticed it gives me a bit more control over the bike. At $90, it seems expensive, but even $90 is not much compared to luxury seats that can cost $250. So overall, I am happy. Maybe these seats are more expensive to make than meets the eye. . . .

Have this seat on one of my bikes. Feels great! Easily do a 20-plus ride in comfort.

I was very sceptical about this saddle especially with the E-bike tax that normally means higher costs and that it looks thin but the saddle feels great and gave me more comfort on longer rides. The saddle is not thick so looks good as well as comfortable. Measure sit bones is essential to help buy the correct size. Wish i would of bought it sooner instead of wasting money on other saddles.

This is my second one, last one I’ve had on a commuter E Mountain bike and done about 30K Miles with it , tried many others but this is the best saddle I’ve owned in 40 Years of cycling.

Choix toujours difficile. Par correspondance encore plus. On ne peut pas tester ! J'ai le modèle homme, petit, 1,65m-65kg. Ce que certains apprécient d'autres par leur morphologie n'aimeront pas. La première impression est une grande liberté de mouvement des jambes. Aucune gêne de la jambe pliée (en haut), à la jambe tendue (en bas). C'est rare qu'il n'y ait pas un bout de fesse qui coince sur d'autres selles. La selle retient la chaleur ce qui se laissera apprécier en hiver et ne gêne absolument pas en été. Le canal central ne comprime pas le sexe quand c'est bien réglé. Au début j'avais réglé la selle avec l'avant un peu en l'air afin d'être bien en appui arrière, mais ça gêne un peu. Alors je l'ai mise à plat en 2 réglages et essais. Et là plus aucune gêne ni même de sensation d'appui. Une parfaite liberté (J'ai une position très à plat lorsque je pédale). Le bord arrière qui remonte offre un appui assez agréable sans gêner le mouvement et je ne suis pas en électrique. L'appui du corps porte effectivement bien sur l'os du bassin. Il faut se centrer les fesses. Après 4 heures de route ça commence à se sentir. Une pause (à pied ou en danseuse) permet de se soulager assez vite et la reprise de position n'est pas douloureux. On peut aussi s'avancer d'1 cm pour changer d'appui. Au final c'est du grand confort pour du sportif mais ça reste du sportif et donc avec un confort relatif. Point négatif, la finition. Le revêtement est collé en dessous sans être recouvert par un plastique qui pourrait empêcher le décollage. Pour l'instant ça tient. Ce n'est peut-être qu'un a priori ! ? Un peu cher aussi. Je m'attendais à plus de confort pour le prix. Aucun souci de montage. Il y a beaucoup de place pour passer et visser. Livré avec une attache quickclick à monter qui supporte 950g. La mousse dite super truc bidule est plutôt môle au toucher mais dure à l'assise. Je n'ai pas pu juger. Ne fait pas de bruit, contrairement à ce que j'ai lu sur d'autres commentaires. Un problème de poids peut-être ?

Rezension zum Ergon SM E-Mountain Sport Sattel: Nach jahrelangen Schwierigkeiten mit verschiedenen Fahrradsätteln und dem immer wiederkehrenden Problem von Damm-Beschwerden, habe ich nun endlich eine Lösung gefunden. Ich möchte hier kurz schildern, weshalb dieser Sattel für mich ein absoluter Game-Changer ist und warum ich ihn uneingeschränkt empfehlen kann. Bei anderen Sattelherstellern war das Dammproblem immer ein großes Thema. Schon nach wenigen Kilometern machte sich oft ein unangenehmer Druck bemerkbar, der sich manchmal so intensivierte, dass ich mehrere Tage eine Pause einlegen musste, um die Schmerzen abklingen zu lassen. Besonders auf längeren Touren wurde der Fahrspaß dadurch erheblich getrübt. Mit dem Ergon SM E-Mountain Sport ist das Problem praktisch verschwunden. Seit ich diesen Sattel verwende, fahre ich problemlos Strecken von 50 km und mehr – ohne dass es zu den bekannten Beschwerden kommt. Das leichte Druckgefühl im Dammbereich ist zwar noch da, aber auf einer Skala von 1 bis 10 würde ich es maximal mit einer 2 bewerten. Das bedeutet, dass der Druck kaum wahrnehmbar ist und mich beim Fahren in keiner Weise beeinträchtigt. Besonders positiv fällt auf, dass auch bei mehrtägiger, intensiver Nutzung kein anhaltender Druckschmerz oder Taubheitsgefühl im Damm entsteht. Selbst nach einer Woche täglicher Touren kann ich weiterhin problemlos fahren, was vorher schlicht undenkbar war. Ergon scheint hier das ideale Verhältnis aus Polsterung und Form entwickelt zu haben, das sowohl die nötige Stabilität für anspruchsvolle Trails als auch eine angenehme Dämpfung für längere Strecken bietet. Fazit Der Ergon SM E-Mountain Sport ist für alle, die regelmäßig längere Strecken fahren und keine Kompromisse beim Komfort eingehen wollen, eine hervorragende Wahl. Die Druckentlastung im Damm ist nicht nur deutlich spürbar, sondern sorgt für nachhaltigen Komfort, selbst bei hoher Kilometerleistung. Für mich hat sich dieser Sattel als genau die Lösung herausgestellt, die ich seit Jahren gesucht habe. Wer ähnliche Probleme mit dem Dammbereich hatte, sollte den Ergon SM E-Mountain Sport unbedingt ausprobieren – es könnte die Erleichterung bringen, die man sich wünscht.

Just got a new bike, couldn’t ride more than 10kms without numbness and pain. Did the research, got an Ergon and wow. Every saddle from from now on is an Ergon. Feels stable and hands down the most comfortable seat I’ve ever sat on and this wasn’t even the comfort model.
