HERSHEY'S Cinnamon Chips, 10 Ounce

The chips are delicious!!

This was a very hard product to find, only on Amazon. Going to make Snickerdoodle bread for my Grandson

Yup, there was some melt and clumping. No big deal, I froze the bag and broke the clumps apart when they were cold. It happened during the two hours in the sun in my mailbox, what can the shipper do? Good flavor; they are "mini" sized chips.

Couldn't find these in any of our local stores. Great taste but unfortunately to expensive to buy again.

Item was liquid when I got it. Was only in my mailbox for a short time and it was completely melted.

This past summer, my fiance and I spent a few days at a bed and breakfast in the Berkshires that served these wonderful cinnamon-and-chocolate-chip scones. When we returned to California, I searched for a cinnamon scone recipe that I could alter to include chocolate chips. I found the recipe, but I had no idea where to start to find cinnamon chips. My time in the Berkshires was the first time I'd even heard of such a thing. Amazon happened to have these, so I decided to try them. They arrived, and I added some extra chocolate chips to the recipe. The scones turned out beautifully, and while they did not replicate the scones served by the bed and breakfast, they were good enough for us. We are currently saving the cinnamon chips for another batch in the future - we might even add them to some ice cream or something! These are a reasonable price, and I was pleased that I was able to find them - our local grocery stores certainly don't stock these.

I had these in zucchini muffins and they made a real difference in flavor. Yum! Shipping was with small cold packs included, to help with melting in my area's hot Summer weather. Fun fact: This is also an amazing dog breath freshener! My sister's dog has really hot, stinky breath, like garbage and dead fish. When we were making muffins with the cinnamon chips, one chip fell on the floor, and the dog slurped it up. A few minutes later, I was sitting down, and the foul beast came up to be petted, excitedly huffing the gas from deep within its acrid gut. To my surprise, its breath had turned quite pleasant and cinnamony! I still won't allow dog kisses on my face, though. I know what dogs get into!

These have become a staple at our house. I make scones out of them and they flavor the entire scone! I bought some in the summer, and was surprised and pleased when they came in an insulated container with a warning on them not to put them in a hot mail box. And when I opened the insulated container, there was an ice pack between the two bags of cinnamon chips I had ordered. That is over and above. However, I do feel the price is a little extreme, but my 94 year old Mother LOVES my scones, and they are delicious!

Needed these for a recipe and couldn't find them in any grocery store, of course Amazon had them!...delicious flavour!...not too strong tasting!...wish they were a bit cheaper though!
