I wish I could find an affordable large one
Despite the small size, I can still sharpen my razors. Using a hone progression from blue to yellow along with calculated use of a slurry stone, this thing hones razors quickly from butter knife dull to shave ready. The edges were so highly polished, initially I thought I’d dulled or over polished them. Wrong! After two passes, my face was baby butt smooth! I only apply enough pressure whilst shaving or honing to feel a draw. I’ve spent big bucks on synthetic stones, but they don’t hold a candle to Belgian blues or yellows. I’m only sorry I didn’t buy sooner.

undersized and cracked stone
This stone is advertised as a 4X2 inch stone.....what I received was a stone which is 4X1.5/8 inch wide....I wonder if anybody received the same dimensions?.....also there are 2 cracks in the stone I just received.....I wonder if anybody had these issues?

Wonderful honing stone! Mine are used for straight razors. M
I love the stones. And what they’re going for on other sites even though it is small it is a bargain? Highly recommend. Belgian rockers Belgian rock but was cut well. Highly recommend. M

Nice coticule, worth the money.
I received exactly what was described. A 100/40mm coticule mounted on a slab of black slate. I got 8 1/2mm of usable stone, sitting on exactly 10mm of unusable slate. The stone looks very pure and of good quality. It isn't dead flat, but flat enough if you're not too OCD about flatness. About 3 minutes on 400 grit SiC powder had mine dead flat. It shipped out and got here quickly too, no complaints. It did come with a small chip out of the corner, which was in the bag. Probably happened during shipping. It was packaged well, wrapped in cardboard with bubble wrap. Well worth the price, these stones are hard and really last.

Good Stone
Nice stone. Works well for slurry on my other hones. Softer than expected but ok. Nice price and size.

Small but mighty
Great size for field sharpening (if you know how) - best possible edge for anything with a blade

Small Ardennes Coticule Water Stone
This is a very rare and special water stone. It is produced in the Ardennes forest of Belgium and has a very different sharpening technique than an oil stone. Depending on the consistency of the slurry, you can either cut or polish your edge. This stone would shine when wilderness camping because it is light in weight, needs no oil, and can sharpen any blade.
