Thule Snug Tite Lock

Happy with the purchase. Fits well and quality security to prevent bike rack from being stolen. Would need quality tools and a lot of effort to cut through it. It would be even more secure if it wasn't so long. I am a little worried about durability from the threads. I often have 3 to 4 bikes on my rack and with the bumps and turns while driving, it puts pressure on the threads that screw in on one side. Product is on the expense side, but it is worth the cost to me for the piece of mind when I'm camping, driving and stopping somewhere to know my expensive bikes will not be easily stolen.

Very good a bit expensive but does the job. Protect my bike rack on the road.

Works great for locking my Thule hitch rack. If you want to use the 'one key' system with another lock then you'll have to buy a set of lock cylinders that are matched to replace the lock cylinder in this hitch lock and your other lock so they match.

This product is very simple and convenient. When you have the hitch rack you have to make sure that you aren’t going to loose your rack and the bikes that you are transporting on them as well so the first thing that you think of is THULE!!! I have been reading all the reviews on this product and people have been complaining about the price and you can make it for cheaper but in all honest why did these people buy them? Its because of the name. No one would probably want anything less especially if you are able to afford it. Everyone wants the best and that is why I choose THULE. I had the racks for my truck and I loved the look of them and they did the job but yes they were super expensive compared to other brands but I didn’t want to hustle with other racks that would potentially breaking so I stuck with THULE and I loved it and they are a good brand but it isn’t expensive. So with that being said I will always choose THULE unless someone can talk me other wise. You are paying for the brand but look at it this way that is how you would choose your car or your computer or TV it’s the same concept, the buyer is going to buy the brand that they like. Over all yes this product is good and you can probably make your own but these guys to me know what they are doing and specialize in these products so for me I will leave it up to the knowledgeable people and stick with THULE

Does what it’s supposed to do. It locks the bolt in place. Could someone smash it or cut it still with a file or sawzall or try to get bolt cutters around it? Sure. But, you can’t stop everything. This has a solid design, fits the Thule bike rack threads, and has a simplistic locking system that was easy to figure out. There’s even a cover to try and prevent water from getting into the lock and causing rust. Took me about 2 minutes to figure out how to put it together. No time at all. Would highly recommend if you want a way to lock your bike rack onto your vehicle.

I have a small bike rack that goes on the back of my car and often find it difficult to find a small enough lock for it. This one works really well and offers the security. I was looking for with a key highly recommend.

I’ve owned 3 of these. Returned one today as it was defective. I ordered another today still too pricey but the locks are great.
