This is my second hand-strap since my first one ripped. I just installed it to my Nikon D7500 so this may be premature, but in comparison this one is so much better!+ also has a wrist strap providing extra reassurance while allowing the hand strap to be looser for more dexterity+ microfiber material - much more comfortable than typical cheap nylon or fake leather+ strap installation - relatively simple compared to others, no degree needed+ good valueI've purchase other camera accessories from JCC which have also been solid and expect the same from this one.

The JJC Deluxe Microfiber Camera Hand Strap is a perfect alternative if you dislike using neck straps but still providing added protection from your camera slipping and falling to the ground. The JJC Hand Strap attaches to camera from the bottom by using a base plate that screws into your tripod's socket. The screw on the base plate has a half circle ring on the screw for easy installation. A flat head screw driver can also be used to tighten.When you initially adjust the straps to fit your hands, your thoughts are to make sure it's snug and tight enough so the camera doesn't slip from your hands. Unfortunately, if the straps are too tight or snug, you will lose your hand movement around the buttons and controls of your camera. I would suggest to make the straps loose enough so your hand has total movement and control over your camera's buttons, but still safe enough that if your camera accidentally slips, it will not just fall to the ground (see uploaded pics). **What is important is that the wrist strap is fastened around your wrist at all times. The wrist strap is what will actually prevent the camera from falling to the ground and damaging your camera.**The overall comfort of the JJC Hand Strap is great. The hand cushion is comfortable, well padded, and breathable. The hand strap does relieve hand fatigue from shooting and gives you a bit more confidence that your camera is secured to your hand. The base plate does not interfere with my camera's battery door which is great. Lastly, the base plate has an eyelet so you can attach a sling strap with a quick-release carabiner. I bought this for my Canon EOS 90d. It was easy to install onto the camera. Fits perfectly, both on the camera and my hand. Being that it is adjustable really helps. I loved it so much, that I bought a second one for my OM System camera

The JJC Pro Deluxe Hand Strap works well for DSLRs. It is on three cameras, a film SLR and two DSLRs. It enables you to get a firm grip on the camera and helps reduce camera shake. The ARCA Swiss plate fits common 38 mm ARCA Swiss clamps that you might have on a monopod or tripod. It makes for a quick setup in the field. Purple or blue Loctite are good to use where screws, bolts or nuts keep coming loose and they’re not permanent. Loctite can be used to keep the 1/4” screw tight. The overall quality of the strap is good. It might be a tight fit for extra large hands.

I love this hand strap. I used to shoot with a Canon 7D with battery strap and the Canon leather wrist strap, so I was pretty disappointed that my new R8 didn't have a battery grip so I could attach my hand strap. Thankfully some innovative companies came through for us wrist strappers. It's comfortable and secure, so I don't constantly worry that my clumsiness will result in catastrophe.

Great product, does what it’s meant to. I’ve only had it a few weeks so can’t comment on its durability. I will update this in a few months to let everyone know how it’s holding up.
