Compact Quiet Easy-to-Use Adjustable Foldable Boots & Gloves Dryer (US)

Tried the other style of dryer with two separate wired pieces that go inside the shoe/boot, but they're too long to make it around the bend of my ski boots. This dryer is nice and compact, the retractable arms are the perfect length for ski boots, and the gentle heat and air flow dry damp boots quickly.

This is a much faster, active dryer that circulates warmed air, compared to something passive like a PEET dryer. You will want to be mindful of shutting it off when you're done, unlike a PEET rack which relies on heated air passively rising up into an upside down boot and can safely be forgotten about. I picked this up to save space over my existing PEET, and it's accomplished that goal. I will nitpick the noise level, which is audible. Yes, it's "quiet", but "shockingly quiet" is rather false advertising. The build quality is middling, not cheap but not "premium" either.

I bought 3 of these and they have all stopped working. One lasted only a month and one of them lasted a ski season and the start to another. I think they overheat. If you ski a lot, these are not reliable. Super disappointed!

I borrowed an identical one a few weeks ago on a ski trip, where at the end of each day everyone’s boots were wet and damp. The heater completely dried our boots in under 30 minutes a pair. It doesn’t get too hot, where it might damage form-fitted footbeds. It folds up and is lightweight for packing. I cannot recommend this heater enough. As soon as I got home, I ordered one for myself and plan on using it for an upcoming ski trip. I have not used it on tennis shoes or hiking boots, but I am assuming it will do just as good of a job as it does on wet ski boots.

This is my second boot dryer of the same type. I like that it is compact. I travel to ski. So having a small, compact device is important. It folds up nicely and fits inside my helmet when I pack it. It’s also very quiet. If you’re running it at night, you can have it in the same room as you’re sleeping and it won’t bother you. My boots are always dry when I put them on in the morning. My only concern is how long it lasts. This is my second device. I believe my last one worked for five years. Wish it had lasted longer.

This was a replacement for an earlier model of the same Therm-ic boot dryer that died after many years of use. As was the case with the earlier version, it's simple, lightweight, compact, sturdy, easy-to-use, and gets the job done. No frills, no fuss, just works.

I chose this product because of a good review in The Guardian. It certainly dries the boots well. I walk 3-6 km every day in the woods with the dogs and the boots get very wet, with little chance to dry naturally, for five months of the year. What disappoints is the build quality of the extendable tubes. They are not smooth to operate.

I saw this at a friends places. He recommended it to me. When I ordered it on Amazon it arrived very quick, unfortunately it did not work. The seller never got back to me when I tried to contact them, so I had to send it back.
