I found this cheese to have excellent flavor and texture, despite what some of these people have said. Some, I believe are just flat out lies. That, or the product they received was open and well out of date. It's just not possible for their review and mine, to be true any other way. (IMO) Great product!! Will buy again!!! Update! Ordered again and it's even better this time. So creamy, and has the perfect smoke flavor. Not too much... amazing!!!

Has a great smokey flavor
YESSSSSSSSSSS. Hands down a damn good cheese. Love gouda and even more if it’s smoked. Not sure what the reviewers saying this tastes like cheddar are talking about because I also got the Smoky Park smoked cheddar and they are distinctly different. Can’t speak to those that said they got mealy cheese because mine was smoooth. Ate the whole thing by myself (not in one sitting). This cheese is where it’s at. Granted I’m not a cheese snob, but I like cheese. No, I love cheese.

Smoky flavor was out of bounds. Hits you first off and is just right. Was perfect texture, rind was easy to remove, easy to slice even considering shape of slice. Yum! Good luck!
