Good rod. Would prefer a one piece , delivered fast. Fair price

I got this rod on April 16 2025 and it was very good I used it almost everyday and caught many fish but today May 13 2025 was the bay I got snagged on a tree and while getting it out the rod snapped while I do recommend this rod just be careful with it. This company is the greatest they saw my review and offered to send me a new one. This rod is great for casting light lures like a beetle spin I have this rod paired up with the Piscifun Torrent baitcaster reel and they both work like a dream.

It's a vary good feeling rod.

Nice rod, pretty sensitive, casts well and accurately, it's a little bit heavier than some of the casting rods on the market. But, it's a pretty good value that looks good and will work for fishing reaction type lures like crankbaits, rattling crankbaits, and spinnerbaits as well as topwater lures like buzzbaits.

Kast King does their best at keeping prices low with a competitive product and this rod falls into that category. Stands up with the big nasme rods on the market and works just as well if not better. My choice of Rods.

Great rod

This is the single worst fishing rod I've ever touched. The "medium" action rod is flimsier than most ultra light setups. It offers ZERO sensitivity and is absolutely impossible to set a hook. I had 2 bites with the rod practically ripped out of my hand that would not set because the rod just bends straight into the water instead of popping up. My first one broke in half after trying to set a hook ONCE. I've literally never snapped a rod in my life, I have like 10 others and I fish daily. The second one didn't snap in half immediately but is (again) entirely impossible to catch fish on. I mean this is unusable garbage. Buy any other rod. I've seen 20 dollar rod and reel setups that DESTROY this product in terms of quality. I've caught many fish on budget setups, avoid this one like the plague. Go to Walmart, get a 20-40 dollar combo, you will be infinitely better off. I would give zero stars if I could and I'm refunding mine after this.

I like the feeling of the rod and it seems to be well made but I could not achieve any decent distance with it. I use it for saltwater pier and dock fishing and it appears to be holding up well but I’ve only had it a couple of weeks. Personally, I believe it could be designed differently to achieve the casting distance needed with a few minor adjustments. I would enlarge the first (nearest the reel) eyelet and move it about two or three inches closer to the reel seat. This would keep the line from wrapping around the rod on windy days. Secondly, I would eliminate about three of the eyelets as they cause excessive drag on the line. Although my training is in architectural engineering and not fishing rod engineering, I believe the small changes suggested would greatly enhance the usability of an already good rod.

I was really looking forward to using this fishing rod, but unfortunately, it broke in half the very next day after purchase during normal use. I didn’t apply any unusual pressure or misuse it in any way — it simply snapped while casting. Extremely disappointed with the build quality. I expected much better durability from a product like this. Hoping for a refund or replacement. Definitely would not recommend based on this experience.
