Great upgrade to my DR650
This is a really cool, simple, solid product. Haven't tested it out on the road yet, as I've just installed it. But it looks great. The instructions are basic with no illustrations. But they're very well written and straightforward. Remove seat, headlight cowl, gas tank, handlebars, bolt in dash, ground, run the red wire to the battery, and reassemble. (I grounded mine to the frame as well, rather then fork triple clamp as instructed) Yes, the handlebars bolts are tough to free from the grommets, but patience and a few taps on the bolts from underneath and they were free. Looking forward to being able to charge phone and/or GPS and adding some LED's to the extra switch.

Nice touch
Good little dash to add power to charge a phone or gps. Came completely wired, ready to go. One switch is wired to the outlets, and the other is powered ready for an accessory of your choosing. I didn't like the idea of grounding to the triple clamp, I used one of the tank shroud bolts to the frame and it works fine. Edit: dash light blew, had to Almost remove the bars to get the the mounting screw. Wrapped the dash light box with guerrilla tape and wedged it in. No problem and much easier to replace a bulb. Still really great product. First installation I ran the power from left side of the frame, but when I swapped bars and risers I ended up switching to the right side along with the harness and there is just enough wire to keep the dash fuse with all the other fuses.

Awesome dash for the DR 650!!!
I ended up sending this dash back but only because I decided that I wouldn't have room for my largish size tachometer. I highly recommend this dash if you need or desire plugs for powering miscellaneous devices. The seller promptly refunded me my money. I highly recommend this seller and the item he sells!!! A+++

Nice dash, install takes a bit of effort.
Really like this dash. Maybe an update to the instructions would help on the installation. Advise user that removing the handlebar clamp bolts is challenging since the rubber grommets really hold the bolts in place. Also the recommended grounding wire to the headlight bracket didn’t work for me. I spliced in a length of wire so I could ground to the frame. Once that was set the USB and Lighter plug had power.

Clean up that dash...
Great product for cleaning up the dash of your DR. I tapped into the top toggle switch for my Garmin Zumo 660lm cradle. I wired switched power from the source behind the headlight cowling into the bottom toggle to run some heated grips. Looks and works great for me.

Works great
I see the newer models have the right bottom corner cut off, had to take mine back off and cut it so I could remove fork cap/springs, bit of a pain to find out, otherwise would have been 5 star. Nice clean looking dash.
