Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) Cleaning Toolkit | Cleaner Fluid & Flush Kit (J02250)

Having become a DPF ‘expert’ after watching a YouTube video, I watched it twice so that’s pretty much guru level. I used this to clean out my DPF after getting the little nag light on the dash. The gun itself is easy to use, I already had a compressor so you need to factor that in if you are doing this yourself. The fluid itself did not seem to work that well, producing lots of steam and none of the foam I had been expecting to see. I gave it a second go with a different brand of DPF cleaner but using the same JLM gun (they are all the same really) and had a snow foam party at the back of the car in no time. After a short drive with a fair bit of dense vapour coming out of the exhaust it cleared up, the light went out on its own and 20,000 miles later it is still off so I call that a win.

I don't normally review, but thought I would this time. This product is USELESS! This is actually the second JLM DPF cleaner that I have used, the first was the twin aerosol pack of DPF cleaner. I thought I obviously did something wrong as that didn't clean my DPF. So I bought this kit and followed the instructions on YouTube to the letter. And guess what - this never worked either! A COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY.
