This was bigger than expected but turned out to be a good fit after all as so am i these days (my waist is 34ish inches and chest is 43ish and a size "small" is a good, snug fit with room to adjust bigger / smaller depending on how well the diet goes.. . Good quality leather etc, feels robust, not flimsy. Looks good as either casual or smart (for me it goes well with my scruffy black teeshirt and ripped jeans... and will look better once its worn in a bit) Overall very happy with it.

Great product, feels nice and sturdy. Fits well over motorcycle jacket due to adjustable strap on back and laces.

Great vest I'm a 39 chest and the medium fits perfect as the laces and back strap allow for adjustment, large inside pocket with a smaller one with velcro fastener.Good leather and well put together.

Initially I was very pleased with this waistcoat, the leather has just the right level of slightly distressed without looking scruffy. I am 5’8” tall with a 42” chest and I bought size large which fits very well over a shirt and would go quite nicely under a jacket. The side lacing is discrete and allows for a little more adjustment than just the back belt buckle. The only criticism I have of the overall design is that it could have done with inside pockets on both sides and the smaller elasticated Velcro fastening internal pocket is not big enough for even a small smartphone. The leather is of good quality and fairly uniform colouring bearing in mind the type of hide used, it is not too stiff and should mould and loosen up with a bit of wearing. Edit... However, I bought this vest back in July and did not really wear it until much later in the year as the weather was simply too warm. I subsequently noticed that the lacing holes on one side were out of line. The two rows on the left are fine but the ones on the front right section do not align the the holes on the right back. This is not immediately obvious hence I did not notice it for several months until I started wearing it more frequently, it was one of those “something doesn’t look quite right here” moments. It is a cosmetic issue most likely down to quality control but it nonetheless spoils an otherwise excellent garment and I have reduced my initial five stars to one. I have returned it and am awaiting a refund since it is clearly faulty but I have faith in the product and have ordered the plain sided version. Further edit: The seller has had my return for a week now and I have heard nothing, I was unable to send them a photograph of the problem due to limitations on Amazon’s email system but they declined to give me a suitable alternative email address to use, not happy. The replacement I bought because I really do like this vest smells very strongly of what I can only describe a diesel oil which permeates everything around and may well also be returned.

Love it. The strings make them adjustable and fit perfectly. Quality leather vest. Comfortable and nice pockets. Great value for money. I got the Brown and the Stonewash.

A little bit tight but that's obviously down to me putting on some weight. A well made waistcoat that looks good. Great value for money.

I bought the large but should have gone for the XL. I'm 5'10" and a 34" waist. Good quality though.

I'm somewhat surprised that the majority of purchasers state this waistcoat fit as expected, with one saying it was moderately small. I purchased a Medium size and it was HUGE so, unfortunately, I had to return it. It is, however, a very nice waistcoat and if you can get one that fits, I think you will be very happy with it.
