My autistic son who jist like planet, doesnot want to write. Learn how to hold pen and write; because this game toy has planet and pen to write. I would say complete game toy for him.

[This review is for Mind Challenge only] I researched all the games in Skillmatics Educational Game series, and I am so happy that I purchased Mind Challenge, as it is great in every way. Especially after reading some reviews of the other games, I didn't find any of those problems with Mind Challenge. Mind Challenge meets the product description very well: it is indeed suitable for a player of 6-99 Years. It has Erasable and Reusable Activity Mats, and it's Travel friendly. 1. The activities are very repeatable. I bought it for my daughter when she was 6, and she was challenged by a few activities, couldn't figure some out without help. Now she is 7, she would take it out and play those activities again, successfully completing most challenges by herself. The final activity is so difficult that three engineers in my house couldn't solve it without peeking at the solution. I am sure I can save this to have my daughter try it again next year! 2. The included marker is totally dry-erasable and writes well on the mat. The marker has an eraser head that also works well. I do complain of the dry ink crumbs from erasing the writings, but the included soft cloth or tissue paper would solve the problem. (Mind my clean freak!). I saw some complaints of the included marker that is not dry-erasable with the other games in the Skillmatics game series, and I guess those may be due to quality issues? At least it's not a problem with our game. 3. Solution is provided on each activity mat, and is cleverly printed upside down at the bottom of the mat. I use stickers to cover up the solutions so that my daughter really has to put her brain to work :) Again, not sure why some other reviews mentioned no solutions, which is NOT the case in our experience. Bottom line, I do enjoy this game and enjoy seeing my daughter (and myself) play with it. I came to search for another similar game today, and sadly didn't find any others comparable to Mind Challenge. But I want to write a positive review for this game that we truly enjoyed! Hope this helps!

My son enjoys this

I bought these for my Dad with end-stage Alzheimer's. He took to it immediately, and with a little help he was able to complete some of the tasks. He won't remember doing them the next time he picks them up, which is why the eraseable surface is so great! The provided pen is a bit thick for some of the exercises, so I just bought a package of fine tip dry erase pens in different colors. These exercises are all about problem solving and pattern recognition. Both are excellent for people with dementia, as they promote the use of skills they will lose if they aren't used enough.

I’d love to let you know about this product! But we’ll have to wait for Christmas Day as I bought it for a grandson
