The Peptide Water Bomb!! First of all I had to Google what peptides are and why they're good for your skin. I will summarize my research here: I vaguely recalled that peptides have something to do with proteins and bonds from AP Bio some several years ago, to my delight I found that my memory served me well. Peptides are made up of amino acids, and when amino acids and/or peptides are combined in specific formation they create specific peptides. Combine those specifically and you get specific proteins (i.e., collagen). As we age and with no help from environmental factors like sun exposure, collagen decreases over time leading to skin that is thinner, doesn't retain its 'bounce,' and ultimately, the formulation of wrinkles. Fear not; when collagen is depleting, your body produces peptides that send a 'message' saying it needs to produce more. Enter the peptide water bomb: Peptides applied topically that give your skin a boost by doing the same thing. The specific peptides at hand (as seen in the ingredient list) are Copper Tripeptide-1, and rh-Polypeptide-7. Skins building blocks are assembled by copper. This is a signal peptide known to work with copper in the skin to help teach damaged areas how to rebuild skin to restore smoothness and firmness. The second one is considered the human growth hormone, and also aids in anti-aging, anti-wrinkle, and wound healing. It also helps the transport/channel function of red blood cells (although I'm not sure if that applies when used topically). [Keep in mind I'm not an expert to any degree on any of this, and my 'research' is internet-based between some 12 or so sources] Now, after performing the labor of researching peptides I appreciate this so much more. It states on the box that the water content is 90% and oil is 10%. It doesn't feel weighty or oily whatsoever, and is wonderfully light and refreshing to use. I only use a pea-sized amount and it spreads really nicely. When I'm finished it isn't shiny on my skin but definitely leaves a soft and moisturized feeling. It makes my face look and feel rather awake and alive effortlessly. There is no scent whatsoever.

I have repurchased this moisturizer many times and it never fails. It is lightweight which is perfect for my oily/acne prone skin and has never broke me out. The peptides help with tone and texture.

I love this moisturizer. It has really helped to heal and strengthen my skin. I had a damaged moisture barrier under my right eye from harsh acne products, and when I slept on my right side I would wake up with horrible deep wrinkles there. I thought it would be like that forever, so I had trained myself to only sleep on my left side. This moisturizer has repaired that skin, and I can sleep on my right side again. I have extremely oily, acne, and clogging prone skin. At 1st this product made my skin purge a little bit. I thought that it was clogging my pores, and that I wouldn't be able to use it. I kept using it because I loved it so much, and I'm glad I did. The purging stopped after a few days. This product absorbs well, isn't sticky, moisturises well, and works well under my makeup. It doesn't really have much of a scent. My skin loves it, and I think if u have sensitive skin urs will too. Update: Ok, so I've been using this gel cream for about a year now, and I love it even more then I did when I first wrote this review. My skin used to be very dehydrated, and skin barrier was ruined from the drying effects of acne treatments. My skin is so plump, hydrated, and dewy now, and it's because of this moisturizer. This stuff is amazing, and it's def worth trying. Oh n in the year I've been using it, it hasn't clogged my pores or caused me any breakouts (except for the first 2 nights).

For sensitive skin this brand and products is soothing and calms the irritated skin down with out drying as it is very moisturizing. Worth the cost and the quality of the product and amount per tube helps too.

This is a very light, watery lotion. Perfectly embodies, "Water Cream." I could not use this alone in the winter (maybe during summer in the AM), but it is PERFECT for layering light, hydrating products. It MELTS into the skin instantly. I just love it. I also have their Green Tea water cream, which is great but a totally different consistency—heavier and that could be used as a standalone AM lotion all year.

I've been using this product for a few weeks now and think I finally found my new favorite moisturizer. As a person with oily acne prone skin, it's so hard to find a moisturizer that a) doesn't clog my pores, and b) moisturizes well. Usually with new products my face goes through a short purging period, but with this there wasn't any. Before making the switch, the Neutrogena hydro boost gel cream was my go to, but I found that in the winter my skin still felt dry (also I use tretinoin at night, so that doesn't help). This product has a similar consistency as the hydro boost, but this product actually sinks in well and my face feels plump in the morning. Plus I get relatively 3 times the amount as the hydro boost for roughly the same price, so that's a win in my book!

Provides a very nice glow and moisturizes very well.The product does not clog pores and goes on very light and is perfect for summer and winter.I have sensitive skin and this product provides consistent results.

It came in an awesome condition and the results with this product is amazing. It was better than i expected. I highly suggest everyone to buy it. 💯
