Turmeric Root 2KG 2Kg

I'd purchase Turmeric from this seller before a few months ago and that was perfect - fresh, clean and no wastage. I was a little worried this time after seeing some of the other reviews but the 2Kg ( 4 x 500g bags) were delivered promptly and the contents were in perfect condition. I needn't have worried - I think this seller really cares about the quality of their produce and would not send out sub-standard product. Price was a little high - I realized after my purchase that it would have been about £3 cheaper to have ordered 4 x 500g instead of 2Kg (which is silly as it was delivered as 4 x 500g anyway) but that's my lookout. I've prepared all the Turmeric and it's all ready for use, chopped and peeled, (in stir fries etc) in bags in the freezer. Very pleased.

I was truly amazed at how great this order was. Not a single issue encountered. These roots were ALL fresh - I wasn't expecting it to be this great. Amount was simply perfect. Will most definitely order from this seller again! Will upload photos when Amazon allows me to 🙃

Expected a bit bigger pieces and got more small than big. Some of them look old and started to rotten or were soft. It’s my first buy of turmeric so can’t compare to anything.

Very nice turmeric - fresh, moist and tasty. Super Addition : I froze some in the freezer part of a fridge-freezer - not so good : it is wet and darker in colour with a soggy, stringy flavour which rather spoils it. Pity - it was great before I froze it. Boo hoo

Half of this order was rotten and stunk! Had to skin the whole order to check what was good and freeze it so it wouldn’t get any worse before I’d used it all. Seemed the best value buying 2kg at first but probably one of the most expensive in the end after disgarding a big proportion of the order!

I buy this in bulk to make turmeric and ginger shots. I make it in big batches and then freeze it so it’s really handy to be able to buy turmeric in such large quantities. So far the quality has always been good. thumbs up from me

Love it, I buy it every month and juice it with all lots of greens and fruit
