So here's the thing…I have an Aer City Sling and it's great. Main thing I want is to carry essentials in a lightweight bag…but I also want easy access to everything inside the bag…and the Aer delivers. But there's a problem…what's easy for me to access is also easy for pickpockets to access. I found this out in Paris the hard way…the pickpockets there are next level skilled. Now, luckily for me, the pickpockets didn't get anything valuable…so I got off lucky…but still, even though I had everything zipped up tight, these guys managed to get inside my bag without me even knowing it. Of course, this is made simpler by Aer's zipper pulls…they make access easy…but not just for me. So how to solve the problem? Well, in my experience, the main thing you're aiming for in any thievery situation is to avoid being the easy target…you don't need to have Fort Knox level security…just something that makes you not worth the effort as a target. That's where the Locking Zipper Pullers come in. They strike a great balance between "easy access" and "annoyingly difficult target". The locks are easy to open…really easy to open…no complicated lock combinations…but they also cannot be opened casually. You have to really intend to open them…explicitly. Nobody is going to able to do so and go unnoticed. They have to be precisely "twisted" to open…it's not a subtle operation. And that's kind of the miracle of this solution: *you* will be able to get to *your* stuff easily…but even if pickpockets know how they work, the locks cannot be opened surreptitiously. So the locks get a big "thumbs up" from me. Rich approved!

Exactly the extra level of security I need while upgrading the durability of my zipper pulls! The comfort of the rounded plastic makes opening my bags much more enjoyable. Will buy again.

I liked these zippers. They work good. But bit pricey.

Love these zipper pulls with locks, they match so many shades and fit any zippers, and take up no extra space while looking good, which is everything you want when dealing with backpacks. Worth the premium price. Using them on my two Tobiq packs which have numerous double zips with nary a lock option. Note in the photo it shows I can even lock the single zip on the side laptop pocket to the far side zipper on the front double zip and it will secure both the front pocket from opening and the laptop pocket. And color code the zips so I can quickly find my gear in the monochromatic bag. Only thing missing is a glow in the dark option.

I got these for my 6L black bag to give me a little security while standing in lines with my camera gear. I wouldn't image these cost much more than the standard ones, would love to see Wandrd make these standard on gear going forward. It was nice to add a pop of color to the bag this way as well.

I had to get the hang of using them. It will Slow down and help discourage a thief to try to unzip your bag. It also makes it easier to unzip and zip with the zipper when you unlock. I would buy again!

Don't work(lock). Now it's just an expensive zipper pull.
