I researched what gloves to get my 15 yr old to start him off. The Reyes gloves are by far the highest quality gloves I've seen and I've seen and used several brands over the years. Do not cut pennies with the cheap brands like Everlast, get a high quality glove like Reyes.

Awesome Gloves. Brought for my partner who boxes, muai thai, MMA. Went down a treat so anyone looking for a present. would say they are big gloves the actual size. So depending the build of the person 16 oz are really. bigger than a 16 oz twin straped gloves. if that helps anyone
