These little ice trays are awesome.
I love these ice trays. I’m a big iced coffee person, but I hate giant, standard-sized ice cubes in my drink. My fridge has an icemaker, and I was even considering buying a countertop ice maker just to get small or nugget-style ice for my coffee. While looking, I came across these ice trays and figured I’d try them before spending $60–$100 on another appliance. I’m so glad I did. These are perfect—exactly what I wanted for iced coffee. I saw another review mention that water splashes everywhere when putting the lids on, but that’s easily avoidable. There’s a fill line—don’t overfill. Put the lids on slowly and gently. If you push them down hard, water will splash out. The lids are actually designed to let excess water escape so the ice forms perfectly round, so just take it slow and there’s no mess. Removing the ice is easy. A quick twist and the cubes pop right out, and you can transfer them to the included ice bucket with no trouble. The trays feel sturdy without being heavy. Overall, I’m really happy with these. They work exactly as advertised, and I’m glad I bought them.

Stylish little ice balls. They’re GREAT!
They make the cutest little ice balls for drinks. They’re easy to use and don’t take up much room in the freezer!

Labor of love, but worth it
These ice trays work and you will definitely produce small ice balls, but it takes some fine tuning to get there. Here are a few things to know and hopefully help you along: 1 - One tray will produce enough ice for about one drink, so if you're planning for a few drinks you should plan to build up your stash over time. 2 - You will spill as you put the lids on the trays. There are ways to minimize how much, but spillage is imminent. 3 - I have found that 5.5 oz of water is optimal. This limits your spillage and produces a mostly full tray of ice balls. 4 - Once you've filled the tray, slowly and carefully press at each corner until you hear/feel a click. This is where you will spill. Speed and care are key. 5 - When you take the trays out of the freezer, first separate the top from the bottom, then twist the trays to get the balls out. Know that you will end up with ice on both the top and the bottom, so be careful not to waste. You can see in the picture that I've had success. The picture shows my effort over several days; this is how I keep enough in hand for a few drinks. I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 because it took some trial and error to succeed at making ice with it, and because of the size of the trays themselves. If you're willing to commit I recommend buying the 4-pack.

Works very well
Absolutely loved this!! I put it to use immediately 🤣 I feel lile it makes enough ice, not too big. I like that it has a scooper and the container to keep the ice.

Good Ice, Meh Design.
I would like to start by saying I REALLY like the ice that these trays make. Small musket ball sized ice. It may be my favorite ice style now. BUT the delivery mechanism definitely has some room for improvement. How to fill the ice is quite messy. You have to fill the bottom tray and then press the top on it. Water goes everywhere if you do it right. You don’t want to underfill because then the ice won’t come out right. I have come to filling them in a baking tray to isolate the mess. Then the scooper they give you is wayyy too small. You’d be lucky to get 10 ice balls at a time. Which takes a while to fill up a cup.

Love these! Just purchased more.
These make perfect little ice cubes for drinks and my dog also loves them as treats. They make a little bit of a mess when you put the lids on the trays. Water squirts out of the tiny holes like a clam shell, but it’s fun and refreshing, especially if you have kids. :) The trick to getting them out once frozen is running some warm water over the back of the tray to loosen and then twist. They are perfect! Highly recommend.

Makes cute ice cubes, some minor shortcomings
I bought the four tray pack. I like the ice cubes that it makes. The user manual recommends using 200ml of water, which is about 3/4 cup. Maybe use just a little bit less. I found measuring to be easier than trying to fill it from the faucet. You don't overfill and then you have less of a mess when you snap the top on. It's a little messy because when you press the top on water squirts out of the edges and the small holes, so plan ahead. The ice cubes remove fairly easily. I haven't tried a quick rinse on both sides of the tray to see if they would release even easier but I have no real complaints. One shortcoming is that the trays don't interlock when you try and stack them so they kind of just sit on top of each other. A few little plastic tabs for stacking and I would have given this thing a five-star rating.
