Honestly, these pens are way better than I expected for the price. The colors are nice and actually useful (not just random shades you’ll never use), and they make organizing notes or lists a lot easier. They write really smoothly—no skipping or scratching—and the ink comes out consistently. I’ve been using them daily and haven’t had any issues with them drying out or leaking. They’re also comfortable to hold, even if you’re writing for a while. Nothing fancy, but they just work, which is exactly what I wanted. Overall, just a good, reliable set of pens. If you need something simple for school, work, or home, these are a safe pick.

Such a great one! 12 pens for a low price is awesome, big it's even better when it works really well. Most pens to me do not fit my hand well and I often feel my penmanship suffers for it. These are really comfortable and write really well. I am a Girl Scout leader and take lots of notes. Lol as long as noone steals my pens, they last really long! Another thing, if you go to the store, it's so hard to find a pen with blue ink. Cannot go wrong here! Extremely nice and almost fun to use!

I will admit - I was skeptical. As a certified pen snob - I have my “Princess Picks for Perfect Pens” but those are all quite pricey. Low on funds, I decided to try these Amazon Basics Pens - despite many just bizarre negative reviews. You folks who claim these broke on you - what exactly are you doing with these pens- driving them under your SUV? I clicked the retracting mechanism 100x and it did not break. I wrote with it for over an hour taking notes on a Zoom and it did not run out of ink halfway down the page. I question the people writing such peculiar negative reviews. These pens perform just as well as my favorite brand and they are so affordable at a fraction of the cost. No bleed-thru on the pages and it has dark, smooth, high quality blue ink - critical for legal work. I love that these do not have the rubber gripper affecting nearly every pen in existence now because those hurt my hands and attract lint. Gross. Whereas these Amazon Basics Pens are smooth, easy to hold and have excellent longevity with none of them breaking inexplicably - as reported by other customers. Absolutely I recommend these pens and will definitely buy them again. So glad I took the chance on the fantastic budget price for the quantity because they are great household pens and good for work too! Great product, Amazon!

If you love pens, especially colorful ones, you may want to give these Amazon-brand ones a try! For less than $8, you get an abundance of pens in an abundance of colors. But do keep in mind that you mostly get what you pay for. MINUSES: - You'll need to scribble these pens a bit to get them going...they don't begin to write right away. - Some of the pens may leak ink from the tips. - Many of the pens suffer from a lot of white space in the lines while writing. PLUSES: - Great color variety, and each color itself is quite vivid. - The yellow ink pen in this set is probably the boldest yellow pen out there! - Nice and smooth writing with no skipping. - Comfortable barrel with a soft coating that feels pleasant to the touch. Overall, I recommend these pens even if the actual performance of many them isn't so great. At least the core colors, such as the black, blue, and red ink pens, perform very well...it's mainly the fun/fashion colors that tend to be spotty. But with their retractable convenience, smoothness, comfort, and rainbow of ink colors, these pens are great for journaling, coloring, color-coding, or simply just the fun of writing in all different colors.

I normally wouldnt review a basic product like a simple pen, but I'm gonna take a minute to do so for these. I am very picky with my pens, I need certain ones for my handwriting to be clean and legible, and these Amazon Basics pens are that. They are smoothe, have perfect sized ball/tip for my liking, the ink is smoothe and doesnt seem to smear easily, and they are just simply tough. They also allow me to write very small and still be legible, which is key for the inspection reports I fill out constantly. For the price, getting 12 pens for $12 ($1/each) is a great price for these. Not sure what else I can say, but out of all the pens I buy to try out and find a decent writing utensils, these are by far the best for the price. If you lose one, or someone walks off with it, your only out $1. The clips also seem tough, I have others break easily and I need the clip so my pen is always on my shirt for quick access as I won't pit it in my pocket where it will break. These are excellent pens, I recommend them 100% so if you need a reliable pen that writes great for a low price, here they are.

I’m very picky about pens. They write extremely smooth and although they do not have the anti slip piece they do not slide while I’m writing because of the texture of the pen itself. Great pens. I recommend

These pens are just okay. The thing that distinguishes good pens from so-so pens, in my opinion, is how smoothly the ink flows. These ones deposit those little blobs of ink along the letters as I write, which makes them inferior in my book. They otherwise function as you would expect a ballpoint pen to function.

These black ballpoint pens write smoothly and consistently with minimal smudging. They’re comfortable for everyday writing and come at good value. A solid, no-frills option for school, work, or home use.

Mi sto trovando molto bene con queste penne. La qualità è buona e, considerando il costo, il rapporto qualità-prezzo è davvero conveniente. La scrittura è morbida e scorrevole, senza interruzioni, il che le rende piacevoli da usare anche per prendere appunti a lungo. Apprezzo molto anche l’impugnatura: il rivestimento gommoso è comodo e non affatica la mano, nemmeno dopo parecchio tempo. Su durata e possibile perdita d’inchiostro il giudizio può variare in base all’uso, ma per la mia esperienza sono penne affidabili e pratiche che consiglio.

Great item for the price! The pack contains a wide range of colours in this set (all in duplicate so I could split the pack with a friend). Writes smoothly, and none of the colours are too light to read.
