Mr. Men 40th Anniversary Box Set (Mr. Men and Little Miss)

The Mr. Men 40th Anniversary Box Set is fantastic! I remember reading these as a kid in the 90s, and this set captures the same fun, charm, and quality I loved back then, but now I get to share it with my nephew! The books are very high quality, sleek, and fun, making them perfect for young readers. They’re not just entertaining, they’re also a great way to teach and engage a child. This set brings nostalgia for adults while creating new memories for the next generation. Highly recommend!

I love these books. Good for old and young.

I was not familiar with the “mr” and “little miss” books from growing up, but my husband happened to mention them to me and indicated they were one of his favorites as a child. His sister said the same thing, so I decided we’d try them in our house. Needless to say, my kids are now 2nd generation fans. The books are smaller, which is great for younger kids to grab, hold, and thumb through without too much of a challenge. These are also a very nice quality print and bind and look brand new after having two toddlers and now preschoolers use them for over a year, even after reading them numerous times. The illustrations are bright and simple which is what I think is so appealing to my girls. See my pics for examples. It gives them less to focus on so they can just enjoy the faces and story. In fact, my younger daughter still refers to every smiley face she sees as Mr. Happy. Each story has a pleasant ending or moral, but they’re not preachy. These would be a fantastic teaching tool. I’ve already bought extra copies to give as gifts. And the price on amazon is awesome. For the amount of stories and quality of the book I’d easily pay $30 wth no regrets.

Just like the set we had 40 years ago that got passed down to one daughter and wanted by the other. Now they both have the set!

My daughter loved those

We love the mr men series. My kids love Every one. They are witty, have fun play on words. Use words that are fun for inquisitive minds (miserable, greedy, gracious, ... not words we use every day). I like the conflicts and resolutions, simplicity and original ideas. Only drawback is two selections. We don't celebrate Christmas, so mr snow was gifted out of our box set. And we don't practice magic/wizardry. So Mr sneeze is going to donation. I know it sounds innocent enough. But Praying is not magic. And we can't Always Expect things to *poof* get better if we don't invest something physical or spiritually in. I'm sure parents might disagree, but mr sneeze and a few others will not be found in our collection. Its still worth the price for hard back books. And the paperback versions still fit in the collector's box nicely, as I plan on filling our gap with little miss series to keep some gender neutrality. Books in great condition, package arrived very quick. Bought it for our 9 month baby son, but we do read for him before sleep so these are perfect and short.

Ces petits livres carrés, sont ici en version "beaux livres" avec couverture cartonné épais. Agréablement surprise. Des textes pleins de qualificatifs! Mes enfants adorent déjà ceux en Français et ça les amuse de retrouver ces personnages farfelus dans une autre langue.

Increíble. Cuando era niña mis papás me compraban los libros de los "Señordones" y fue una impresión maravillosa de libros que marcaron mi infancia. Está edición (que es en inglés) viene en una caja para guardarlos (la caja de cartón en la que aparece la publicación) y tienen una cubierta dura que hace que sean muy resistentes. Es una de las mejores compras que he hecho en Amazon.
