This is so discrete that no-one would know it was there. The pack comes with one wet wipe and one dry wipe per shield to be used to prepare the watch face before applying the shield. If you wear your watch for swimming or in the shower the water gets trapped behind it so you need to flip the shield off and dry behind it. I have to do this at least once a day and the shield is still in perfect condition after a month. I see no reason why this should not continue. I am really pleased with this product and would recommend it to anyone who wants to avoid a scratched watch screen.

I previously had an adhesive Zagg protector on my Apple Watch. The corner of the protector abraded after scraping it on a metal edge, and a few months later the screen loosened off after swimming for a few hours one day. I almost bought the same replacement but am so glad I came across the Mixsi! It feels a lot more protective than the Zagg because it encases the whole top and sides (minus the side button) of the watch face and case. It was super easy to install and after 1 plus months of regular use, no scratches have appeared on the protector. It did get some moisture between the protector and screen after washing dishes one day, but it was fast and easy to snap off the protector, wipe both dry with a lens cloth, and reinstall. The protector does not feel or look bulky and does not look like an "add-on." I would highly recommend.

Update: we bought our first set of these cases 2.5 years ago. I LOVE these! I make sure we always have a spare in our charger cable drawer JIC! My husband works on cars and does woodworking as well and these cases have saved his watch multiple times. Every time a situation occurs that we think has finally destroyed the watch, it turns out the case took the brunt and the watch survived. I’m so thankful we found these. I do wish they came in dual color packs and not one color + one transparent. (For blue) And I’d love a red option. Still happy with my purchase! Original review: We bought this Apple Watch for our son. He has seizures. There weren’t a lot of options for protection at the time we purchased the watch so we “settled” for this case. When he fell the last time (he is fine!) we thought for sure the screen was cracked. It’s not!!! I’m definitely going to be reordering these! They pop on very easily and while the case took a beating, the watch itself was protected and that’s what is important to us! The touch screen aspect can be a little frustrating if you are used to tapping quickly, this case responds better I’ve noticed if you are more deliberate. I’d take a star off for that, except this case just saved us over $200, so it can have all the stars it wants 🤩

I tried every kind of protector for my Apple Watch 6 and this is the best by far. The bumper style protector did not protect the watch face and I got a few scratches as result. I added a film scratch protector and it peeled off within days. I initially resisted buying this model thinking it would be too bulky, but it was a choice I now regret. It turns out that it adds a minimal 1mm to the profile of the watch and had I gotten this one first there would be no scratches on my watch’s face. The protector is not waterproof in the sense that water will seep in between it and the watch if submerged. That’s no big deal. The protector is easy to remove, dry and reattach. It can be done in a matter of seconds. I bought this protector in October 2021 and only this week did I finally have to replace it with the 2nd of the two that come in the box. I banged my watch really hard causing the edge of the protector to crack, but it did its job and the watch was fine. I intend to keep my watch for as long as possible. So, today I bought another set of these to have on hand a year from now if the one I just put on needs to be replaced. Until Apple figures out how to use traditional sapphire (or something else as hard) for their watch faces, save yourself some grief and get this protector, it’s the best one I’ve found.

The protector does its job great. The few times I've dropped it I definitely have had the protector crack but it protects the watch and the watch doesn't crack. It is fairly simple to apply, and it seems to stay on. My only concern is how when it gets humid, under the screen fogs up, and when your watch gets wet, the water usually sticks underneath in between the watch and the screen protector. Even the feature on the apple watch that can remove water doesn't get it all the way out.
