My grandson (2-1/2) loves construction stuff. And he LOVES this set! He pretends with the vehicles, and the sand needing to be moved. The "buildings" are a little challenging for him right now, but he is catching on to how to use them. So much fun. And not a lot of mess. The kinetic sand is like play-doh so it sticks to itself (looks like rocks that he has to move and stack!) and cleans up easily if it gets out of the box. The container is terrific! We had it zipped shut and it fell off his little table. Nothing fell out! No mess to clean up! Great play set! Great fun for the cost!

It is exactly as advertised. My son enjoys it and it truly does zip up and does not leave a mess. Also it comes with the sand which is pretty cool.

Such good value! There is enough sand to use all the pieces included and also good variation of vehicles. With the zipper box/enclosure it makes clean up so much easier and the sand doesn’t leak out after it’s closed and it’s big enough to have good pretend play in the box if you want.

Ok for the price it’s not “bad” it is all plastic two sets of machine sizes. If you would to be too rough with them just like any other plastic toy it would probably break but honestly I don't hate the quality for the price. The box is made of nice plastic material. Not sure if it will be water proof but still nice. Zipper seems to be good so far. My biggest complaint is that it doesn’t come with nearly enough sand. It is nice sand however. My little girl has been playing with it for over two hours now. So that’s a win in my book. Just go ahead and add some extra sand to your order, believe me you’ll want more.

I think I enjoy this more than my 2 year old 😂 but he still loves it. Some of the pieces are pretty small tho, I did only keep the bigger ones. The pieces do seem pretty much dollar tree type quality. And you definitely need more sand. I did read reviews prior and ordered the 11lb box of kinetic sand. But in my opinion their sand just seems better! But we just mixed it and it still works great. And the box is a nice size

Kids liked it. Kinetic San is a little less playable than I thought it would be but it worked. I had to buy a little more sand to fill it up better

If my kid were 8” tall, this would be a great sandbox. The paltry amount of sand doesn’t even cover the bottom. The presentation picture for this item is false advertising. My 18 month old can’t even sit in this tiny thing. Buy at your own risk.

This was bought for a friend of ours for their son’s birthday and their son loved it so much that I ended up buying it for my son. It’s a huge hit. The sand feels so cool and it’s very easy to clean up. I even like playing in the sand and having it run through my hands because it’s not like the regular sand we are use to. It’s kinetic sand, so it’s pretty neat!! Definitely buy it if you have a little one interested in equipment. Great for even indoor play because it’s easy to clean up. You can just pick it right up with your hands you don’t need to sweep it up like you would like regular sand
