After calling multiple orthodontists and dentists around my area who gave absurd quotes to get replacement retainers, I found this on Amazon and was willing to try it out. The process was fairly simple, though the mold itself took a couple of attempts (the orthodontist would have done the same thing). It will get messy, so have paper towels or something to clean up and make sure the mold fits all of your teeth. I received the retainers from about 2-3 weeks from when I sent them in and they fit well, feel durable, and are easy to clean. The biggest thing is that these retainers help prevent my teeth from shifting and help to prevent tooth sensitivity. I'd highly recommend this if you are looking for good retainers, good price, and good communication from the seller.

Amazing and affordable product! My dentist recommend that I get a retainer just to prevent movement over time, and I had also noticed that I had started grinding my teeth. I was quoted hundreds at the dentist, so I looked elsewhere, and I am glad I did! This product is the real deal- they send you all you need to make the molds and ship them back. Then, they create the retainers and ship them out to you. Quick and painless! My retainers fit perfect and has stopped me from grinding my teeth! It feels incredibly durable, too.

Wowww!! What a FANTASTIC experience I had with this company! I had braces when I was younger but now, in my 50’s, my teeth are starting to shift ever so slightly. My dentist was willing to make me a set of retainers but our insurance didn’t cover them and the cost would have been SEVERAL hundred dollars out of pocket, which we aren’t able to do. Thinking there must be another option, I decided to look into being able to do this online somehow. I was thrilled to see that there was indeed another option so I took the plunge. First of all, I will admit that I absolutely dreaded the impression process that I knew I would have to do, and it certainly was not fun. The material is cold, it’s messy, and it’s not a super comfortable process but it’s not any different of a process than what dentists and orthodontists do- you just have to do it yourself. I could tell that I didn’t get it right the first time so I had to do the impressions twice. After I felt that I got the second try correct, I emailed the company the pictures of my impressions, like it said in the instructions. Imagine my delight when I heard back from them within an hour!! .. and they said all looked good, and sent me a prepaid shipping label that I printed and used to send my impressions. I mailed my impressions out the next day, and I had a couple of follow up questions that I had forgotten to ask, and every time that I emailed them, they emailed me back within an hour. So I was super impressed with the customer service and quick communication! About a week and a half after I sent the impressions out I decided to follow up to make sure that they had received them, since I didn’t receive any kind of confirmation that they were received. Again, someone emailed me back within an hour and told me that they did in fact receive them, and that the retainers were in the process of being sanitized and cleaned and would be mailed out within a couple of days. Two days later, I received another email saying that they were being shipped out that day, and I got them about 4-5 days after that. All in all, the whole process from impression to receiving them, took a little bit over 3 weeks. After receiving the retainers, I was very nervous to try them on, in case they didn’t fit, but my worry was unnecessary, because they snapped right in and fit perfectly! Taking them out for the first time was a little daunting, I felt like I was going to take all of my teeth out with the retainer, lol… but it’s been a few days now, and I’m getting more used to them. The instructions suggest starting in the back and working towards the front to remove them, but I find the opposite to be much easier and more comfortable, I start in the front and kind of lift it until it snaps off of the back teeth. I had a great experience with this company and would definitely suggest going this route if you’re looking to save time and money!

So Glad I Found This! I’m honestly so glad I found SMILEINS LAB! I needed a retainer for whitening but didn’t want to spend a fortune at the dentist, and this was the perfect solution. The kit was super easy to use—making the mold took no time at all—and I was shocked at how quickly they sent the finished product back. The fit is perfect, the quality feels really professional, and it works just as well as the one my dentist quoted me hundreds more for. I even love the little carrying disc they include—it makes it easy to keep my retainer safe and take it with me when I travel. Great price, great service, and honestly a better experience than I expected. Five stars all the way!

Impression kit was easy to do. Still, it came with enough sizes and supply for plenty of chances to get it right! Took my impressions, sent the pictures, and got a shipping label the same day! Any questions I had through the process and after were answered very quickly through chat. They even double-checked with me to make sure they understood the request I wrote on the card. The guards/retainers I received are professional grade. They're softer, much less brittle than any I've had from the dentist, yet just as durable! And best yet, so comfortable in my mouth that i can easily forget it's there. Both units came in a sealed, easy-tear pouch. Also included the same case provided with Invisaline. If you're a light grinder, get the thinnest ones. If you're a medium to heavy grinder, then get medium thickness (pictured.) If your teeth need to be protected structually, I would get the higher thickness. If you're in the market for retainers or night guards, then do yourself a favor and buy these. They're great and cost very little!

Rating 5 stars because customer service is some of the best! Seriously some of the best customer service. So I ordered these for my daughter, she is a very bad night grinder, and the ones I got for my other daughter were unavailable at the time I ordered. So I went with this company. When we got the kit there was plenty of extra molding powder in case you have to redo it. We did the molds took pictures and sent everything in, pretty easy. Once we got the guards they didn't fit quite right, so contacted customer service sent a few pictures through email and they sent a new set. New set fit great! Was contacted by email by customer service to see if there were any problems and unfortunately I would not recommend these guards for heavy grinders I explained that while the fit is good and they are comfortable for a guard within about 3 weeks of wear they had already been worn down and had a few holes in the guard. We sent a few emails back and forth on the guards themselves and as a retainer or clear aline type piece I'm sure these would be better or even light grinders but for heavy grinders I don't think they will hold up, customer service agreed but said they would send another set to her, haven't gotten them yet but shipping did take a bit each time. Will update if I do receive them. Custom service is amazing and the product is nice just not for what we needed.

The Smileins guards fit somewhat loosely around my teeth compared to other's I've used. I ordered them to serve as a nite guards, and am finding them acceptable for that purpose, but I don't think I'd be satisfied if I was expecting them to serve as retainers. This is the first set of guards I have ordered online; I am comparing them to mouthguards/niteguards that I molded to my teeth at home. Also, the guards I received do not seem to be trimmed as closely to the tooth edges as the guards shown in the product page images, and I'm finding the extended edges of my guards to be somewhat irritating to portions of my gums and roof of my mouth.

I ordered top and bottom mouth guards. Instructions are easy to follow. Let me say that yes it's gross, but it's very worth it! Try on all the shapes before you start. Breathe through your nose and you'll be fine! Also, 100% don't be afraid to email them and ask questions, because they answer right away and are super helpful and kind! Once my guards arrived, I was so pleased with the results and how well they fit. They're very comfortable to sleep in and have reduced my jaw pain. Definitely recommend these!!
