I bought this item to protect the bed for an adult who had an accident following a UTI. I'm really pleased with it. The pad is thin enough not to be uncomfortable, and does not make a crackly noise. It contains the same kind of gel as you find in Always, Tena and similar products, and absorbs well. There are sheet like ends which you use to tuck under the mattress and achieve a tight fit. There are two ways to use this protector - under the sheet for occasional accidents especially in conjunction with other methods such as Tena Pads or Drynites; or, on top of the under sheet for severe problems or restless patients. Very easy to change in these circumstances. Very pleased - suitable in my opinion for children, adults with a bit of a problem or just as a precaution on a regular mattress, especially if you're liable to spill tea in bed [teenage nephew please take note].

This is great, put on bed when grandchildren stay in case of leaky nappies, saves changing all the sheets, totally waterproof, very comfortable and soft, washes great and great value for money.

Good quality, however, I've now ordered some disposable ones as staining is an issue with the washable version. I would say these are better for children's beds where wetting etc is not so strong as with the elderly and will wash much easier.

Why did you choose this product over others?: Bought for elderly parent and they are great, saves so much bedding.

I purchased this for when we go away as we have a toddler. Unlike most which are a fitted sheet or have a piece of fabric to secure in place, this is just a mat that goes under a sheet. So it’s perfect for taking away and putting on any size bed. We’ve used in a double, toddler bed, single and in a cot. Just handy to have just in case. Only had one accident and it did exactly as it was supposed to.

Needed for Mum in law as cared for at home. She is in late stages of dementia & completely bed bound nowadays. Replacing older sheets as they are not so absorbent now but had been used & washed more than double the recommended number of times. These sheets are very good quality , with great absorption, easily washed & dry quickly on an unheated airer in a spare bedroom. All mum in laws carers ask which brand we have so they can recommend to their other patients

Theses actually really good because I can use two of these on my sofa whilst I'm doing the potty training
