Weiman Silver Wipes for Cleaning and Polishing Jewelry, Sterling, Plate and Fine Antique Silver - 20 Count

After years of using a well known brand where to tear off a swatch of wool, these wipes are so much easier and efficient. Made silver shine, took no time at all and one wipe was enough for all four photo frames. A wipe and some kitchen roll to buff was all I needed and no dirty hands at the end. An excellent product.

I was a little sceptical about these, but must say they were even better than I'd imagined. I collect a lot of antique silver pieces, and the decoration is often ornate. One of my pet peeves when using "traditional" creamy silver polishes is the (typically) pink residue which gets ingrained and then solidifies. These wipes work almost miraculously. A quick and gentle wipe across the surface and it leaves behind gleaming silver! The cloth still gets (reassuringly) black as it removes the oxide, but far less messy than paste. My only gripe would be the price. At ~50p per wipe I think it is excessive, but perhaps they could offer a better value bulk pack or something?!

What an amazing product, Apply the wipe to the metal, I found small circular motion worked best then dry wipe and polished with a micro fibre cloth works wonders!

I'm impressed. Easy to use and gets all the tarnish off. Used a wet micro cloth to clean and then polished with a soft old linen teatowel. Silver is now sparkling. Only Downside is they are expensive if you have a lot to polish but the time saving and ease outweighs that. Bigger pack would be useful too !!

Was at the end of my tether with some of the 925 Sterling Silver ear hooks which kept tarnishing. Tried various handmade concoctions and nothing worked. Always skeptical buying some things online especially as some of the options aren't cheap but genuinely, this product works! The whole batch went from looking how they do on the left of the picture, to the right. Scrubbed up looking like they were brand new again :)

In terms of use, they are just OK. Not for intricate jewellery at all. Most notably, whenever I tried to use them they caused a significant asthma attack. Not sure what is in them but I thought it worth mentioning.

After using a paste to shine silver for about 50 years, I was sceptical that a damp wipe would do the trick. Much to my surprise, it worked faster and easier than anything I had used before. I usually had to use a brush to polish the highly decorative areas of some cutlery, but the cloths could reach into all the crevices and the tarnish vanished! The only drawback is that I’ll probably polish more silver because it is so easy, and so I’ll have to buy more of this product!

These wipes are very easy to use. Until now we used to keep our silver ware in boiling water adding silver foil and soda etc. All that is not needed anymore. The ornaments and our puja idols shine perfectly now!
