Product is nice quality is great at this price just one thing is the valves are too difficult to open initially you cannot open with hands definitely need a spoon or something well that doesn't matter

Well it is a really good product that I have come across so far. First of all, the most important thing to know is that it TRAINING MASK. The purpose of the training mask is to generate hypoxia by cutting down the oxygen from the environment. It is primarily used to train for high altitude settings where the oxygen levels are low. Our body can adapt low oxygen levels if we gradually train it. After the impact of having Olympics at a high altitude back in 1968 in Mexico, a paradigm shift had occurred in sports science leading to two new methods of training i.e. "Live high/train low" and Train high/live low". Since then it is also used in sports to enhance performance, build resistance against fatigue, improve the whole cellular respiration. The mask does exactly what it is meant for. It generate hypoxia and dips your SPO2. It has different resistance valves. Those valves have different numbers of holes to allow the air in depending upon your requirement. There are some cons though. One is the material is comfortable but it tears off soon due to the heavy load. I have ordered my second mask and it is starting to tear off again. especially from around the ears. Secondly the ear holes are a little small for my ears. So my ears are always compressed due to that. WARNING: THIS IS A HYPOXIC TRAINING MASK. 1. HYPOXIA CAN HAVE IRREVERISBLE CONSEQUENCES. 2. STRONGLY NOT RECOMMENED FOR CASUAL USE. 3. THE TRAINING REQUIRES CONSTANT MONITORING OF PARAMETERS SUCH AS PULSE, BLOOD OXYGEN SATURATION, ETC, THEREFORE IT IS RECOMMENED TO DO IT UNDER PROPER SUPRVISION.

This training mask is good for cardiovascular endurance and respiratory muscle strength.

There is. Lot of smell in the new product, I am unable to wear the mask effective immediately. How long will it take for smell to go away?

Even with the maximum input valve, it is a little suffocating after a few minutes. I really doubt elderly people or children will tolerate it. Otherwise, when you are wearing it, your breathing sounds like Darth Vader of Star Wars and your voice is muffled. The quality of construction and material is excellent. So, it is ideal for people who are already used to it.
