Great choice for SOHO and Home users. Reliable and fairly quiet.
Great switch for the money, easy setup and friendly GUI interface. A lot of LVL2 functionality for advanced users. Great choice for SOHO and Home users.

Perfect and Correct
Have had for a week now, works great, very quiet. For awareness, even though it shows GS1900-24HP on the switch itself, it truly is GS1900-24HPV2, which has both reset and restore buttons on the front vs just reset button (I originally thought I received the wrong product).

Great switch to future proof...
I'm a Sr Network Engineer and have had plenty of experience with managing network gear from different vendors. I used a Juniper EX3300 switch at home for years. Read up on Zyxel and decided to give it a try. Needed something to future proof with 2.5mgig and PoE++. Great speed and throughput thru these switches. The initial setup is a little odd but not hard. Every vendors UI is different and the terminology on some menus can be odd. I would definitely recommend this switch for home or small office. I would also recommend using the setup wizard then going back in and fine tune settings. Great quality for the money.

A really good SOHO/SMB access switch, NOT enterprise grade
Obviously, this is a SOHO/SMB switch company. It's not designed to be a HA, dual PSU enterprise grade aggregation switch with a well known CLI. There are compromises that the purchaser needs to be aware of and do their research first, before slamming someone's work, as if they were intentionally deceived. If you want near enterprise grade, spend the $1200+ for that type of switch. You'll get what you paid for, and it'll last for many years without issues. For example, the GS1900-24HPv2 from Zyxel is 24 ports of active PoE, with a 375W PSU to back up all the ports, and so on. So many of the reviewers can't seem to do the math for TOTAL PoE / ports (130W total power for all PoE ports, using 802.11at; is 12.95W ea @ the device), total power isn't sufficient for all ports to be lit with ~13W of PoE on a 24 port switch at one time. This should be obvious to anyone in networking, or someone that can read the specs on the vendor's website. What attracted me most to this switch is that it's convective for cooling (fanless) as opposed to using fans. It sits right next to my office desk. My former switch was fan based and gave me headaches for months, so it had to go. This Zyxel 1900-24EP switch is a fine 'smart' managed' switching product for SOHO as my "aggregation" switch with plenty of capacity to power my access points, my IP phones and my cameras (8 total PoE devices). It's at a decent price that a technical worker can afford, and is reasonably configurable with a decent GUI and a frankly terrible CLI (like I said previously, not an enterprise grade device). The backplane seems fast enough that I noticed a slight bump in network responsiveness replacing an old Cisco SMB switch with this device.

Perfect Product
I use this switch for the core of my home network and it is really great. Feature packed and I use the POE to power my access points with no issues and power to spare. This is a high quality managed switch. The management software is feature rich and does not disappoint. The speeds I get are full wire speed on all ports that I use so I am good with it. I have not extensively tested it or anything but every port I use works full speed. It is solidly built and fits well in my rack. I wish I could have two :)

Well priced.
Great switcher.

It's OK
Very fidgety with VLANs and saving the configuration was oddly complicated at first and led to some headaches. Honestly VLANs on non enterprise switches just have some weird options in general.

Great switch, no 10mb support.
Fast switch, easy to setup. One issue I had was I have an old device that only does 10Mb ethernet. This switch does not support 10mb. I had to add a small switch to support my old device. Pulled my hair out trying to debug why my old device stopped working after switching to this switch.

Smaller footprint than most switches with poe+ and sfp ports.

This product does NOT come with UK Kettle power leads, they are supplied as EU leads so have to be ordered seperately

Schade!

mein erster managed switch. Logische Inbetriebnahme, sauber verarbeitet, Preis/Leisung ist sehr gut.
