Monstrum Ghost Red Dot Sight | 3X Magnifier with Flip to Side Mount | Combo

i was flat out impressed. the red dot was very nicely packaged, fitted foam, sturdy box and in a plastic bag, al the parts were. it fit up real nice and easy. but when i got to the magnifier, what a let down. just in a sealed plastic bag. that had bells ringing in my head. but it too fit well and seem to do it job. the problem was, the red dot. was not crisp it had rind around it with spikes flaring out. i called for a replacment and will see if that is a normal thingy. i also called monstrum, they said " send it back! ". will up date later. *(new update)* with the replacement, set'em up and went to the range, dialed them in. and WOW!! i like 'em. the new red dot is crisp at all settings and the mag dose just that, in a great way. ever thing worked and stayed in place lol. I, got a bit lost on the zeroing. but when i got it, yeah! good price, good service, and a great tool.

Love this red dot on my set up, glass is clear and the magnifier makes everything so much better. The mount is sturdy and the red dot is bright with a clear lens for the magnifier, sturdy too. Haven’t lost zero on it after 100 rounds and for an optic combo that costs this little it performs very well. Great price for great quality

Pros: good budget optic. Solid contruction. Indented magnifier pivot (no push release) Cons: red dot is very fuzzy through magnifier. Rear dust cap is useless. Im planning to use this on an actual pew pew. I just fit it on so this is very first impression without sighting or shooting. The construction and sturdiness is far above what i expected. Mounts nice, the magnifier has indented pivots so no need to push a button like other combo sights. Also has a eye adjustment which is also unexpected. Reticle is crisp on the red dot but very fuzzy with magnifier, as others mentioned, without any improvement from adjusting the magnifier. A small detail, if using the dust cap on the red dot, magnifier side (towards rear of rifle), it will not flip up due to the magnifier bracket being in the way so kind of unfortunate. You have to space out the magnifier and red dot more which causes restricted viewing through magnifier. We'll see how it holds zero on target. Overall, i dont know if i would buy another or recommend it to others.

Solid set up for the $$$. Easy to adjust and very accurate once adjusted.

I would recommend to only get the magnifier. I have no complaints about that, the mount is nice and the glass is very clear. Built very well. I really only have one complaint and that’s the dot. It does get very bright, but it’s definitely not a crisp or sharp dot. Mine is very blurry. I had a few friends check it out to make sure it wasn’t just me or my eyes, and they all said the same thing. Other than that, the build quality is very nice and robust. It looks and feels very durable. The mounts are very solid and hold zero (so far) I also like the magnifier mount. No finicky buttons or locks, but it won’t just flip over on you. I really wish the dot was better, because this combo would be a steal at this price. Maybe I just got a bad one, But I’m off to find a different red dot to use with this magnifier.

Put this on my red Ryder the 3x zoom helps me stock the woman of my dreams ( Betty 75 years younger blonde and has a proclivity to smoke 3 packs a day)

Ill say that the red dot itself is a littpe fuzzy. Its not the most crisp dot youve ever seen. But its such a good scope that it doesnt bother me at all. Its a great product, the adjustment features work perfectly. I had this scope dialed zeroed in less than a minute. You have the ability to change the side that the magnifier flips to. Magnifier itself is top tier. Overall, this performs like a product that you'd easy pay twice as much for.
