delicious. of course durian is better fresh but these made a great christmas present for off-island friends. mahalo.

I actually had fresh fruits in Indonesia since Hotel didn't allow me to bring in and I seriously loved it even though it smelled horrible. I ordered this for my daughter who never had Durian before for Christmas to let her know how Durian is good. Usually freeze dry is 90% better taste than just dried one. This is freeze dried. However this batch one tasted super horrible. No sweetness but horrible taste. From this I think people who got good Durian with sweetness give good reviews or who never had but peopke only think/know it has horrible smells but so healthy thought this unusual taste which is not actual taste should be is authentic. As a person who actually had fresh Durian, I will say don't waste money on this. Save money for trip on actual country to treasure actual fresh Durian.

As a durian lover I was excited to try this. It tasted good, but the pouch was filled with mostly air with only 15% of it being actual durian pieces. I only took two little pieces out because I know I could easily finish this in one sitting :'(

Taste ok just tried it

This taste like dried onions. It does taste bad because I like onion rong chips but it's not something that I would buy again when I can just eat an onion at a cheaper price.

If you love durian, you’ll love this freeze-dried version. I was pleasantly surprised to find out how much flavor these pieces packed. It comes in large bites and are perfect to snack on. Ideal for if you can't get fresh durian anywhere near you. Happy I tried these out!

I have to start with this is my first durian experience, I did not hate it; but I did not like it either. I can see where fresh would probably taste much better, alas, it is not legal here. It taste too me like a sweet onion that's gone off mixed with some blue cheese. The smell, like a teen boys phys Ed locker. I personally am going to get my money's worth and make everyone I know try it. As you should already know before trying it, Durian IS NOT everyone's cuppa tea.
