Excellent quality camera bag, reasonably priced at 25% less than retail
This bag is 25% cheaper on Amazon than the RRP, making it a no-brainer for me. I own two smaller Lowepro bags, and have gradually upgraded as my kit has grown. The Nova 170 comfortably holds a Sony A6500 with prime lens attached, two spare lenses with shrouds (one a 55-210 zoom), spare battery, mini-tripod, cleaning cloths, A/C adapter etc. with loads of room to spare. Time will tell as far as durability goes, but build quality and materials are as good if not better than my other bags - and the integrated rain cover is an excellent feature I wouldn't be without. This is a relatively large bag, but for short trips could definitely remove the need for a separate daysack. In my case there is also enough space to swallow a tightly rolled lightweight rain jacket, and there is a decent-sized exterior pocket for keys, wallet, snacks etc. The carry handle and shoulder strap are nicely padded too. Definitely recommended.

Spacious bag
My second Lowepro bag. Purchased as my new camera is too big for my original bag. Lots of storage space in this one for spare batteries, lens covers etc. only issue is it is too big to fit neatly in my ruck sac. Excellent quality with sturdy strap and rain cover.

Good bag with a little room for improvement.
I've had quite a few Lowpro bags over the years and they've always been good quality and good value for money. This bag is no exception, although I do have a couple of minor criticisms. The central clip, that allows for quick fastening of the lid, isn't adjustable. On pretty much every other Lowepro bag I've owned the clip holding the lid down has had some adjustment available to allow bulky items in the top of the bag to still be covered when the lid is closed. Not on this bag however. Furthermore, Lowepro have been mean with the Velcro strips along the inside front and back walls of the bag. What there is will hold the two main upright partitions in place, but the single small divider that can separate two items stored one on top of the other can only be secured in the middle compartment. You can use it in either of the outside compartments, but it can't be fixed, and just flops about. A bit more Velcro running right along the length of the inside front and back walls would've made the bag much more customisable.

Great camera bag that holds the camera with lens and accessories.

Ideal as an extra bag
I have a larger bag that takes all my equipment when travelling. I wanted a smaller bag when out for walks, visiting wild life parks or stately homes that would take a Nikon Z6 iii fitted with 24-70 lense. Plus another lense such as 24-200, my 105 macro or a flash unit. This bags as proven ideal for this purpose. It also has plenty of pockets that will take extras such as spare batteries, phone and a wallet. It has a wide padded shoulder strap which makes it comfortable when walking for long periods.

Well made and versatile
This is my 3rd Lowepro camera bag. This one fits my mirrorless camera with 18-400 lens including hood easily. Comfy and compact enough to wear the shoulder strap cross body and the flip up lid allows quick access to my camera whilst keeping dirt out. Plenty of secure pockets for spare batteries and mobile phone etc. The pull out waterproof cover only stretches over the front and top of the bag. Fabric waterproofing spray is strongly recommended for the rest of the bag. A piece of cheap camping / exercise mat will add extra internal padding to the bottom to protect your gear from accidental impact !

There are pockets for smaller items like SD cards & filters
Lowepro Nova 170 AW II Expensive compared to the many unbranded products out there, but it is well made and designed. The zip on the underside of the top fits into a little recess, to ensure it does not damage the camera screen, for example. A failing on many of the cheaper bags. I can fit a Nikon D850 with attached 18-36mm lens and a second lens into the bag. There are pockets for smaller items like SD cards & filters. A water bottle or 'pack-a-mac' can be squeezed into the outer pockets on either side of the bag. Unfortunately the 170 does not have a belt loop, I always like a belt as well as the shoulder strap. There are two small loop tabs on the back, so I was able to fit a keyring through each of these and then put a belt through the keyrings. Only time will tell how durable the bag is. Fittings are all plastic, ideal for weight saving but we all know plastic has a habit of snapping. Would have preferred Lowewpro used metal fittings for a bag of this price.

Well made and spacious
I wanted a non-rucksack to carry a full frame camera + spare lens + filters and this is great. It also includes a weatherproof cover. This offers significanly more space than the manfrotto advanced shoulder bag L Negatives: The amount of room this provides means it can get pretty heavy; at this point a half-empty rucksack is more balanced and comfortable so my use of this is fairly niche. The clips are plastic which makes me suspicious of long term durability. This seems at odds with everything else about the bag which is incredibly well made and rugged.
