Necessary if you buy a Eko Duo head.
If you order an Eko Duo stethoscope and there's only ONE box, it probably doesn't have these. It will still hook up via Bluetooth or headphones w/3.5 mm jack. HOWEVER- these will thread on and allow you to use the Eko Duo as a traditional stethoscope. you can turn up the sound to LOUD, and use noise cancelling. The sound is very accurate.
