This product works for reoccurring UTIs
I have looked into this product many times before purchasing. They have the statistics to back it up not only do I appreciate that. But it took away the throbbing pain in my bladder. I have been dealing with a horrible reoccurring uti and this definitely has been something that helps. I wish it was cheaper I really do but out of anything I have tried it really really works. Why did you pick this product vs others?: Product made from proven studies!

Uri Alive Extra Strength Urinary Support- not organic, uses filler, very pricey- but interesting
We use more than a couple supplements. It's not always possible to know how well each is working individually when taken with others. Over the years I have learned to use the label and the ad to judge the quality of a supplement. I use not only what IS there, but also what isn't there. Uri Alive Extra Strength Urinary Support PROS: Made in USA (of global ingredients) and it's right on the label. CONS: $48 for 30 servings is $1.60 per serving. According to the FTC, to label a product “Made in USA” all or virtually all of the product must be made in the United States. However, if more than a negligible amount of the product is made elsewhere, it must comply with FTC rules and carry a supplemental line such as “with global components.” I'd like to know where the ingredients are sourced. Buying everything from China and putting it in a capsule in the USA is what I see when I read "Made in USA of global ingredients" Uses a blend. The use of blends, or complexes, hides the amount of each individual ingredient. The amount may change from batch to batch, and as long as the total amount of the blend stays the same, the label doesn't change and the consumer is not informed. I want to be an informed consumer - I want to know exactly how much of EACH ingredient is in my supplement. If a product works for you one time, and the next bottle doesn't, see if a blend was used. It could be one of the key ingredients that was beneficial to you is present in a lesser amount. Rice flour is a filler, binding agent and flow agent, often used because of it's extremely low cost. While it can enhance the absorption of certain nutrients, it's usually just there to make sure the capsule is full. It is there solely for the convenience of the manufacturer. It provides little to no benefit to the consumer. While this particular rice flour is organic, the actual cranberry fruit used is not. COMMENT / PERSONAL OBSERVATION: Using bacteriophages / myovirus / siphovirus for gastrointestinal health is something I only had a reason to research after receiving this product to try. It's something I'd never have thought of. I found a Pub med article that concluded "Consumption of therapeutic doses of a mixture of 4 bacteriophages was both safe and tolerable in a target human population." I'm still apprehensive, but because of repeated urinary tract issues, I am willing to try it. My 3 star rating is not based on the comment above, but on the use of fillers, the cost, and the global ingredients without saying where they're from.
