This is probably the keyboard you're looking for
I was looking for a keyboard to replace my dying Logitech G810. I wanted a high quality mechanical keyboard, with independent macro keys, per key RGB, and an assignable knob or volume roller if possible. I ordered this Keychron V6 Max, and the Logitech G915X to test, and keep the one I preferred I opened the Keychron first. It was so good, I didn't even open the G915X, I just sent it back unopened Most everything about this keyboard is great. It feels great, it sounds great. It feels solid and built with quality. The switches and keycaps are hot swappable and non-proprietary. It stores everything in the keyboard's memory, so no software is needed for operation, but the web app works fine for customization. Even the packing felt like I was opening an expensive, quality product. The only cons I would list are: - RGB is south facing, so you don't get much light on shine through keycaps - The web app for customization, Keychron Launcher, can be a little unintuitive. It's functional, but not as clear as it could be - With my Logitech G810, it would automatically switch to lighting profiles made for supported games. You won't get that here If one of those things is a dealbreaker for you, then know that going in. But if you can live with those things, and you're looking for the same things I was, then this is probably the keyboard you're looking for. I was really surprised how much I liked it

Overall, this ended up being the perfect board for me. and I don't regret buying it one bit.
This thing is my favorite part of my setup. I immediately changed out the keycaps, which was super easy to do. The added buttons above the number pad have been great for macros. It's sound is nice and thocky. Not the creamiest I've heard, but it is up there. It's perfect though with all of the extra features you get. The build is nice and quality with the right amount of weight and good feel. The web app that allows you to adjust lighting and function is super easy to use. Updating the firmware was much easier than it has been for other boards I've tried (alua especially). The multi-function has been a life saver!! No more using multiple boards between work and gaming. I just have it connected to my work dock via USB C, then wireless for my PC. (I intend to switch those when I get the chance). Overall, this ended up being the perfect board for me. and I don't regret buying it one bit.

All Logitech keyboard users should switch to this brand!
I’m not an experienced mechanical keyboard user but this keyboard makes all Logitech keyboards feel like junk. My first mechanical keyboard since the early 90’s was a Logitech model. I thought it was great at the time coming from other non-mechanical Logitech keyboards. I had no idea what I was missing out on until I switched to this V6 Max from Keychron. It feels and sounds amazing to type on. Nothing from Logitech even comes close. I understand it’s not a metal frame but it’s still hefty and feels solid. The linear switches are pretty quiet and do have a thocky and slightly creamy sound. If you’re looking to delve into the mechanical keyboard world, this is a great brand and keyboard to start with. Highly recommended.

Daily Driver
Overall, this is what I want in a keyboard I use on a daily basis. I work a remote customer service job; to say I type a lot would be an understatement. So far, this keyboard has exceeded my expectations. The ease of use and responsiveness provided by the banana switches is top tier. It feels like I only have to use a medium to low amount of pressure to press the keys and the click feeling is sensational. The sound is in between thocky and clickity, if that makes sense, but more so a click noise. The feeling of typing combined with the sound scratches that itch just right. Stock keycaps are fine, they work well with the switches, wish they were side profile to show off the RGB lights a little more. RGB lights and settings are fine, nothing super crazy. Wish they had a different colorway, but now I'm just nitpicking. Regardless of the cons I listed, at this point I'm deeming this keyboard well worth the money and it will be my main moving forward. The main reason I'm not giving this a five star is due to the fact that I've only been using it for about a week and a half at the time of leaving this review, so I'm not sure of its longevity. 10/10 would recommend.

Extreme key chatter/double-clicking
I highly do not recommend this product. At first, it was a great keyboard; it had a great feel, I like the option for customizability with hot-swap, and overall is a decent keyboard. However, there is a consistent issue, that you will see many others mention, with regards to key chatter, double clicking, or similar. Within the first few weeks of purchasing the keyboard, I already began to have severe issues with many keys repeating mulitple presses one after another. I contacted support, and after a bit, they graciously provided me with a new keyboard. However; this new keyboard, perhaps a month after receiving it, also began to have the exact same issues, and continues to get worse. It doesn't seem to be a case of a few faulty keyboards in the bunch; it is a consistent issue with the manufacturing of the keyboard. I have no idea how this isn't a bigger issue, and much less how it has not yet been resolved. I highly do not recommend buying this keyboard for that reason, until it is clear the problem has been solved, which at this point, I do not have the confidence in Keychron to fix this, given that the second keyboard I received, had the exact same issue as my first.

Crazy good!
I’m new to the mechanical keyboard world so I was very overwhelmed when I started looking at all the various options and trying to figure out the terminology as well as how the different switches feel and sound. This keyboard was for my wife who types a lot and really wanted a keyboard that was going to be closer to the experience of typing on an old school typewriter with heavier tactile key presses and the clack of the keys. She also wanted a keyboard that was full sized since that is what she is already so used to. The Keychron V6 Max with Gateron Banana Switches checked all the boxes, but I was still hesitant simply because I’ve always bought the simple and cheap keyboards like Logitech’s MK series which you get a keyboard AND a mouse for $30-50. Spending $120 on just a keyboard seemed downright outrageous. That is until I had this keyboard in my hands. Not only did it check all the required boxes, but once I got my hands on the keyboard it created new checkboxes that are now requirements for any keyboard that comes after. Pros: Insane build quality Incredible sound and feel Easy to customize Excellent web-based software Great connectivity options Fantastic battery life Bright backlight with lots of RGB customizations Extremely responsive Excellent value for the money Cons: Not buying this sooner I joke, but seriously I currently have no cons, fantastic product!

Excellent full-size wireless keyboard with flexible connectivity
I’ve been using the Keychron V6 Max for about 5 days so far at my office, more than 8 hours per day. I bought it because I needed an affordable keyboard with Bluetooth, and it has exceeded my expectations. The biggest benefit is convenience: it supports three connection methods (2.4 GHz wireless, Bluetooth, and wired), so it’s easy to use with different devices. It also includes two receivers (USB-C and USB-A), and there’s a built-in storage slot on the keyboard for the receiver(s), which helps prevent losing them. Typing feel is excellent. The Banana switches provide a very satisfying tactile feedback, and for me they feel even better than typical brown switches. The typing sound is enjoyable and not distracting in an office setting. The keyboard also looks clean and solid on the desk, has RGB lighting, and offers a high level of customization. Battery life has been strong so far: using Bluetooth with RGB off, I’m getting around a week of use. Cons: The case is mostly plastic, which is not necessarily bad—just personal preference (I like metal frames more). Also, the connection to the manufacturer’s customization software can be inconsistent (sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t). Bottom line: Excellent value for the price with great typing feel, a comfortable sound, and very flexible connectivity. Highly recommended for office work and gaming, especially if you want a clean desk setup.

Great. Would buy again.
I Ordered this to replace a SteelSeries V5 Keyboard. I had used it only 3 to 4 weeks and one of the Keys just stopped working on it. In looking to replace it, I wanted one where the Switches could be Swapped out. This one fit the bill. After receiving it. I am just amazed at the Quality and how easy it was to set up and use. One thing I do not like about it is that the RGB Lighting does Not light up the Letters on the individual keys. Just a Glow from beneath the keys. But that is very small issue and I still Love the Quality and Features of this Keyboard.
