This cleanser gets grime out out of the sink and other products. Leaves the sink shiny and looking almost like new. Not abrasive at all and far easier to use than other soft cleansers. Highly recommend and the quality is superb.

We have a double basin hammered copper kitchen sink which tarnishes easily. I’ve been using another cream cleaner and then applying wax; however the sink would start tarnishing again within a few hours. I’d always thought that BKF only came in powder form, but when I learned it also came in cream form I decided to give it a try. I had knee replacement in early December, so keeping the sink clean was not high on my list and the sink was almost entirely green. Like the other product, BKF required a lot of scrubbing, rinsing and drying, but the sink came out spotless and shiny after about 35-40 minutes. I then waxed it just like I did with the other product and the sink is still tarnish free some eight hours later. BKF is less expensive than the other product and seems to have a more lasting effect, so I’m very satisfied at this point.

Where has this cleaner been all my life? I got it after seeing it recommended for cleaning RV exhaust tip chrome. I must say I was skeptical since an other cleaner specifically design for chrome did nothing. The recommendation was to 'wad' up some aluminum foil, put the cleaner on the aluminum foil wad and rub on the chrome tip. All I can say is I was amazed! No hard scrubbing required, took less than 30 seconds to get superior results. Included pictures of before/after results. EASY, FAST results for a great shine! I share it with others and they go the same results. Now they are ordering this stuff too.

I used the liquid version of Bar Keepers Friend to clean tough hard water stains and soap scum from my glass shower. It definitely made a difference, but it didn’t magically erase everything like I hoped. 🟢 Pros: • Helped loosen up buildup • Rinsed away clean with no residue • Low odor and easy to apply 🔴 Cons: • Not quite strong enough on its own for deeply set stains • I still had to scrub a lot—and ended up using a drill brush attachment to really get results • You’ll need patience and pressure, especially on older buildup 💡 Overall: A good helper product, but not a one-step solution. If you’re dealing with a really dirty shower, pair this with a powerful scrubber or drill brush. It’ll save your arms and get the job done.

1/24/26 I have only used windex to clean fingerprints off my stainless steel fridge (non-magnetic) these past ten years. But there’s a lot of gunk that won’t come off, especially splashes from mopping, at the bottom. When the sun shines on it it’s really terrible, so I tried the liquid version of BKF. At first I didn’t think it was working, so after wiping it off, I tried again in the same spot a minute later, and it must have softened up, because on the second pass the stuff started coming off! Even made my paper towel turn grey! Cool! Don’t forget to wipe WITH the grain of the metal. A little smelly, but it’s like all cleaners, wear a mask if you’re sensitive. After using some elbow grease (muscles), I just rinsed off with a watered down paper towel, and the dry paper towels until shiny. UPDATE 1/28/26: Okay, good luck with figuring out which pictures go with what, it (Amazon computer) just put my new pic on the front of the group of pics! So I did the sample part of the fridge (non-magnetic shiny metal) the other day, and went for the rest this morning, since the sunshine was shining on it and it made it very easy to see the dirty part. And when I wiped it off after scrubbing, there was a lot of grey stuff on the white paper towel, which I thought was a good sign. But that's when I realized that I permanently scratched the fridge some. You can only see it in a certain light, but it's a bummer. I tried everything to get rid of the scratches, to no avail. I still have some of the front to finish cleaning. So I am super happy with how well it cleans, but honestly, if a papertowel and water will remove your dirt, just stick with that. Because there are warnings, either by BKF or by other reviewers, who say that there are little abrasive bits that can scratch the fridge. Well, I think if you are careful and gentle, you can minimize that, but I think I went a little too crazy and pushed a little too hard at times. So like I said, I'm going to finish up by being as gentle as wiping a baby's bottom, and rinse off gently with a wet (watered) paper towel, and then dry with a paper towel, and it should be fine. It really does a stupendous job if you #1. Go with the grain, and #2. Wipe more gently, don't dig in with a finger or two like I did. We'll see how the last part goes.

There is iron in my water. I noticed lines across my platewear. This helps a lot.

I only applied it to the shower handle which was heavily crusted (see photo) and left the rest as is. After one application it’s clean. I left it on for 10-15 min before scrubbing. I have tried several Indian brands to remove white residue from my taps and other bathroom fixtures. This is the best one. The cream version is far superior to the powder one. A small drop and a soft scrubber and my taps/shower heads looked almost new. It is very expensive but worth it in terms of time and effort. Hopefully Amazon lowers the price. If they did, I would purchase it more often!

Incredible cleaner especially on stainless steel. Did the laundry basin, kitchen sink, oven door, dishwasher and fridge and they all came up looking like new. Wife was very happy with this. Can't wait to try it out on other materials.
