After a brief flirt with a BenQ monitor that was faulty and had to be returned, I plumped for this Dell as an alternative. Not only is this monitor in a different league, it's playing an entirely different sport. Build quality is rock solid, the stand is particularly good (although I have it mounted on a monitor arm). The display quality is spot on with crisp, bright visuals and the built-in speakers are more than adequate for everyday use - certainly among the best I've heard on a monitor at this price point. Dell continues to prove that, if it's quality you're after, they are a brand you can rely on.

5 minutes to setup, picture quality very good as long as you use the menu to select proper settings for what your are watching. Sound can be adjusted from the toggle button found just above the power button (lower right on back of monitor). Sound not an issue if you first use the toggle button to select the speaker. Move the toggle left or right/left or up/down - I moved it right. Once cursor covers speaker press the toggle. This activates it and brings up the sound level. Mine states its at 50%. To increase sound move toggle up. This increases sound. I recommend move level to 100%. Leave it there and now you can use the sound buttons on your keyboard to adjust the sound. If you don't then you the sound on the monitor speakers will on play at 50%. Only complaint is there is no HSB-C port.

good monitor, not the best value out there.

I have been looking for an upgrade to my 22inch HP monitor which I have had for about 15 years. I wanted it to work with a Mac and Windows laptop . I can connect both at the same time due to the dual hdmi (no usbc) and switching is as simple as clicking the clever joystick on the back. I find the screen bright and sharp. Colours pop out and white is well, white! Matt screen, I sit under a velux window so minimal reflection compared to my Microsoft Surface screen. Still messing around with the resolution settings for the Mac 1440 looks too small and 1040 not better. (I think that’s more because it’s a big screen) The resolution I have is quite large but works for me and I probably would need a 5k monitor as using a Mac, which would cost about 5x as much! It did need a bit of home assembly no tools required and I had it set up in minutes. If sound is important try this first but you may want speakers.

The metal base fitting parts are badly manufactured and don't fit correctly, so my monitor is sitting at a crooked angle. Not good quality for Dell.

This is a lovely monitor and text and images look great. The only problem I found is that the Mac function keys can't adjust the monitor's volume or brightness. You need another app, either 'BetterDisplay' or 'MonitorControl. They both work well, the former is more feature rich.

High quality product.

Easy to set up, pixel quality seems good, though I'm no expert. Sound isn't the best, but I already have external speakers. Connectivity's fine. I like the size. Previously had a 32" refurbished monstrosity, which didn't last very long. this 27 incher does me fine. (I wish the screen surround (bevel?) was white to go with the stand and the back, but that's a very minor aesthetic point).

High quality product

At this price point this monitor is way ahead of its league. It is aesthetically beautiful, childishly easy to set up, height, tilt and swivel adaptable and very easy to connect in true plug and play style. The screen quality is brilliant. It is impossible to fault it. I am absolutely delighted with my purchase and two of my family members were so impressed that they have purchased two more.

Ottimo schermo. Ho preso la versione 2k da 27 pollici, necessita di un cavo hdmi ad alta velocità per i 100hz, diventando così molto fluido. La riproduzione di colori è molto buona come in genere per gli ips, anche se non ai livelli di schermi professionali per colour grading, io lo uso principalmente per produzione musicale. Anche le casse integrate sono buone per essere quelle di un monitor.

Świetny monitor w bardzo dobrej cenie, zależało mi na białym kolorze i delikatnym dizajnie oraz matrycy 2k. Jak na razie bardzo zadowolony 🙂

J'ai acheté ce moniteur Dell S2725DS principalement pour mon bureau à domicile, et je suis très satisfait de sa performance. L'écran de 27 pouces avec une résolution de 2560x1440 est net et lumineux, offrant une clarté exceptionnelle pour les tâches de productivité et les loisirs. Si vous recherchez un moniteur haut de gamme pour le travail ou le divertissement, je recommande vivement ce modèle Dell. Il offre une expérience visuelle exceptionnelle et est très agréable à utiliser au quotidien.
