I used this for when I’m pike fishing I’ve had a deep hooked pike and this cutting pliers cut my treble hook with ease I was able to remove the hook and release the fish to fight another day 👍🏻 Would highly recommend

Bought this side cutting pliers for cutting hooks from fish's mouths should the need arise. I havnt used them yet but the head of the pliers is a lot chunkier than expected, it would need to be a good 10lb+ pike to fit the pliers in. This is not a bad reflection on the item or the seller as I have no problems there, just a question mark over the suitability of the pliers for my intended use of it. The pliers seems to be of decent quality and shipping was fast enough given the current pandemic.
