Magical Fun Fun for All Ages
It worked beautifully for a wide age range — from our 3-year-old niece (with parent support) up to our 7-year-old. The kit encouraged collaboration, creativity, and hands-on fun. The kids loved making their own “potions” and really felt empowered being able to mix, create, and design things themselves. It sparked their imaginations and kept them fully engaged the entire time.

A spell of good fortune finding this product!
A Whirlwind of Whimsy: My Daughter's Faery Potions Adventure Bought this for my daughter and I so we'd have something fun to do together! it was like stepping into a miniature, sparkly, bottle-filled world. Imagine a box brimming with tiny bottles, colorful powders, glitter (of course), and all sorts of other magical ingredients. It was the kind of kit that makes you want to put on a pointy hat and start cackling (in a good way). Instructions Fit for a Faery Queen But the best part? The instructions. They weren't just some boring list of steps. Oh no, they were adorable. It was like reading a tiny spellbook, filled with whimsical language and cute illustrations. Even I, a grown-up, felt a little sprinkle of magic reading them aloud. It really added to the whole experience and made my daughter feel like a real potion-maker. Pacing Ourselves Through the Potions Now, here's where we had to employ some self-control. The kit came with tons of materials, which was fantastic, but also a bit overwhelming. We quickly realized that if we went full-speed, we'd be done in an hour, and the magic would be over. So, we decided to pace ourselves. We made a few potions one day, carefully corking and labeling them, and then saved the rest for later. It turned into a multi-day adventure, which was way more fun and stretched out the enchantment. A Few Tipsy Thoughts A few things I noticed: The bottles, while adorable, are small, so tiny hands are definitely a plus. They still work well with grown up hands too. Glitter. Be prepared for glitter. It gets everywhere, but honestly, that's part of the charm. I put out a plastic table cloth to catch any spillage. Who knows, maybe after mixing all the left over ingredients we might make a powerful luck potion- maybe I'll find my keys! Adult supervision is helpful, especially for the younger ones, to help with the finer motor skills and to, you know, prevent any accidental ingestion of "unicron hair." The unicorn hair does cling from the static, but that was part of the fun! The Final Spell Overall, this faery potions kit was a huge hit. It sparked my daughter's imagination, provided hours of entertainment, and gave us a fun activity to do together. If you're looking for a gift that's both creative and enchanting, this is it. Just remember to pace yourselves and savor the magic!

Fun and creative activity
This is a fun and creative activity for kids. My 6 year old loves this! I like how this comes with extra bottles for your own potion mix. The reason I gave this 4/5 stars is that the purple glitter ends up clumping together. The kit that I got didn’t come with heart glitter , but it came with 2 packs of star glitter instead. There were also several spelling errors in the directions and one spelling error on one of the sticker labels (wisdom was spelt wisdo), which I thought was odd.

Perfect potion maker
Gave this as a Christmas present to my 6 year old and she LOVES it. Can be a bit messy and the glitter is kind of hard to open but a good activity overall.

Oh, what fun!
This was a holiday gift for my 7 year old daughter because she loves mixing and concocting, and it was a perfect hit, also enjoyed by her brothers (5 and 9) for hours. TLDR: 10/10 fun and creativity, depending on ages, may require some hands-on supervision. Best Features: - It comes with tons of little potion bottles, so everyone made several, both from the recipes and their own imaginations. -there is a variety of sparkles, confetti, liquid ingredients in dropper bottles, and feathery-type things. They ran through some stuff today but it gave me ideas of other craft products we have around the house that can be provided for future use. -there are two each of the mixing bowls, funnels, and measuring scoops so two kids can create without taking turns with those tools. Things to be aware of: -Not for anyone who doesn’t like glitter in the house 🫣 -The pieces are lightweight plastic It will teach kids how to not lean weight on a spoon on the side of a funnel balancing in a potion tube 🫠 -The glitter tubes need to be eased off rather than snapped or screwed. There’s opportunity for a pop of glitter as we learn this skill. ✨ Highly recommend!
